YSL Shoes Fall 2006

I, too, finally got to try them on, and I'm pretty sure they were designed as torture devices for the feet. Some people would say the same of any pair of heels, but those are on a whole other level. It's too bad because I think they're one of the most attractive shoes I've ever seen.

Good to hear that I am not the one having trouble walking in the modern times boot and pumps..I could only totter around in them in the boutique..I am pretty sure I couldn't even manage a dinner party in them

That was really sad...I really loved the pumps the most!

Goodness! I'm so sad to hear all this about the modern times boots / pumps. I adore the way they look but hearing all this makes me worry. I'll definitely have to try them out before I buy. I just want them so bad and I actually NEED to buy shoes.

the moment I've been waiting for has arrived....

I got modern times boots today, on sale!! Since they're not so comfy I didn't want to pay full price for them, but I really wanted them anyhow. I found the boots much more wearable than the pumps, also buying them a little bit big helped in the comfort department.

my fall is now complete

Congrats!!!! I still haven't worn mine and here they are on sale.
I got mine - one size bigger, but it didn't help with the comfort if something - just the oposite.

I saw a middle-aged lady wearing the modern times boots and moving around so gracefully (and easily!) in them.
I'm convinced that these shoes are just not for me.

Do any of you own the Now Look pump or boot shown on the first page of the thread? They do not seem to have the metal section that makes the Modern Times shoes uncomfortable.

I bought a pair of now look pumps with black suede.

I actually got on the list at NM downtown the only place that got them besides YSl boutiques...and the boutiques only did them in brown and blue heel which was too much

but I randomly called NM bc they never called me even though they said they would and I grabbed mine on sale. I love them!
