Yulia Kharlapanova appeared in Paris last season and walked Gucci’s resort show in Rome. She’ll make her New York debut for Spring 2009.

Yulia’s from Chelyabinsk, Russia, though this Maison Martin Margiela ensemble from Fall 2008 suggests hotter climates.

At 5’11, leggy Yulia, photographer here at Antonio Berardi, Fall 2008, tops the charts.

The 18-year-old’s brunette beauty is well suited to the rich colors of Nina Ricci’s fall show.

When she’s not on the catwalk, such as here at Andrew Gn, Fall 2008, Yulia is studying international law.

Amazing. I think she's truly destined for great things - look at the emotion in her eyes in those shots. She's really giving it to the camera. Definitely one of my favorite new girls - I'm quite fond of her showcard - it turned out beautifully but then again the entire Women package did.
