Hugh Jackman comes out to support Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth at the opening night of their new Broadway musical, Promises, Promises, at NYC’s Broadway Theatre on Sunday night (April 25).
The 41-year-old Aussie actor hit the red carpet alongside Heroes actor Zachary Quinto, who’s in town shooting two movies, and former Grey’s Anatomy star T.R. Knight, who was supposed to star in the Broadway production Lend Me A Tenor but was replaced by The Hangover’s Justin Bartha.
FYI: Zachary is wearing a Simon Spurr tuxedo.

Zachary Quinto is one of the few celebs featured in shutterbug Tyler Shields‘ new type of photography that he created called Collisions.
“NO PHOTOSHOP is used to make these,” Tyler emphasizes. “What you are looking at is one image taken with one camera. I cannot stress this to you enough. This is done in-camera. NO PHOTOSHOP!!!!!!!!”
Other collisions feature Twilight’s Ashley Greene, Caprica’s Alessandra Torresani and Kyle XY’s Matt Dallas (kissing Haley Bennett).

Zachary Quinto gives a 10-minute reading of a section of Alexander Poe’s screenplay at the Columbia University Film Festival Faculty Selects Screenwriting Night in New York City on Tuesday (May 4).
Other actors involved included Noah Bean, Ian Unterman, Amanda Salvato, Ashley Springer, Daniel Sergio and Todd Thaler.

Zachary Quinto Sounds Off on 'Heroes' Cancellation
Zachary Quinto has shared his thoughts on the news of Heroes‘ cancellation.
The 32-year-old actor, who portrayed ultimate baddie Sylar on the show, wrote, “the action has been taken. and this chapter (or volume) is really over for all of us who worked on the show - and for all of you who watched it. i want to extend myself in a huge swell of gratitude to all of the fans. for investing in the stories we told. for engaging in the characters we created. and for standing by us through all the ups and downs of what was at times a rocky road.”
“it has been a true honor to share this time in my life with my amazing cast mates and our indomitable crew,” ZQ continued. “i will certainly miss them most of all. the gift of working alongside such talented and inspiring people is something i will carry with me everywhere i go from here. and no matter where my work and my life take me - i will forever look back on heroes as the game changer.”

Zachary Quinto grabs lunch with a gal pal at Sant Ambroeus restaurant in the West Village neighborhood of New York City on a hot Monday afternoon (July 5).
The 33-year-old actor celebrated the Fourth of July from the Big Apple. Zach and his friends watched the fireworks go off from the 42nd floor of a West Side building.
Earlier in the day, ZQ was seen hanging out with Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Zachary Quinto and True Blood pal Michael McMillian stop by the MySpace & MTV Tower during Comic-Con 2010 held at California’s San Diego Convention Center on Friday (July 23) .
The 33-year-old actor was promoting Lucid, the first comic from his production company, Before the Door Pictures.
McMillian, who wrote the comic, says, “It’s a rock ‘n’ roll book, and I think, for me, part of it is taking these elements of magic and this concept of fantasy, which I think a lot of times gets a bad rap… and really make it fun and sexy and cool and contemporary.”
Zachary also debunked rumors that Star Trek 2 would start shooting in January. “We have a while until we’re going to do another one,” he told MTV. “It probably won’t be until next year at this time.”

The 33-year-old actor plays a frightened and unfaithful lover to a young gay man with AIDS (played by Christian Borle).
Angels is set in late 1985 as Ronald Reagan is elected to his second term as President and the AIDS epidemic begins to spiral out of control in America.

The first photo of the full cast of the Signature Theater’s production of Angels in America has been released, featuring Zachary Quinto, Zoe Kazan (It’s Complicated), and Christian Borle (Legally Blonde - The Musical)!
Angels is set in late 1985 as Ronald Reagan is elected to his second term as President and the AIDS epidemic begins to spiral out of control in America.
The play, which won the Pulitzer Prize when it debuted on Broadway in 1993, was turned into an HBO miniseries featuring Meryl Streep and Al Pacino, which won 11 Emmy Awards!
Zachary’s production begins performances on September 14th and tickets are on sale now!

The new production follows a wealthy married man, played by Zach, who doesn’t trust the things he has to be enough and thus looks to find something real in unlikely places. The play is scheduled to run through September 5.

NBC has decided that it will not move forward with a movie to wrap-up Heroes and bring some closure to the series, according to EW.
The 33-year-old actor, who played Gabriel Gray on the show, expressed his upset at the decision, saying “it’s disappointing that there was such a lack of resolution, but unfortunately that’s just the nature of network television.”
