Have a happy new year, I wish you the VERY BEST, everything your heart desires! Health (so you can go on creating GORGEOUS garments), happiness (so you can do it with a smile on your face), courage (so you will never give up), money ( so you can afford ANYTHING you want work wise, lifestyle wise) and someone next to you (one who will always be there for you).

I will never forget your help (especially because you didn't have the time)!

I am indeed having a happy new year, it has already brought me a great blessing , that i cannot even speak of in this thread.......
I am generally a happy person,
yes I would love to havev money...... lots of it, not necessarily for myself, as I am very low maintenance actually,
I can live off bread and water.....
All i need is a bed to sleep,
a television to watch the news (and Basketball/ soccer),
my Bible,
a Bookstand and my computer,
and the tools to do my work (which is what takes my money, along with my shamefully, ever growing shoe collection )
I would love to be able to develop my business better (i am already taking significant steps in doing that, and surely more money would help) , I would also love to help a lt of people that are in need. and having money would enable me to do that........
I am seeing someone now, She has been very helpful, especially with certain administrative responsibilities regarding the company, this has always been a dream of mine. to have someone in my life that can appreciate what i do and help be to grow and develop.............
I should be acquiring studio space in brooklyn In the spring of this year,
this will be a HUGE plus for me. my work has been limited because i now create the collection in my........ well....... my kitchen, yes , the sewing machines are right across from my stove
and i have a very small cutting table, it has been very limiting in the range of what i can do. but Yeah!!!!!!! YEAH !!!!!!!!YEAH. !!!!!!!!!!!
with this new space, I will be able to do more in terms of experimenting, cutting etc.......

Gotta go ,
I gotta cut a few more jackets tonite, i will be off tomorrow from my Dayjob, If i can finish the Jackets tomorrow, I will be in a good position to do what i need for the rest of the week..................

Neiman Marcus is Mad they havent recieved, thier invitations

they are in the mail now........


One really snobby lady called,

Never call someones telephone ( with your number private) and ask them "who is this", it is you who called, wouldnt it be nice to identify yourself first?
sh said she got some "wierd card" in the mail..........

It is the invite to the show......

anyway she got mad and asked how did i get her information,
how can i say ....... when you refuse to identify yourself?


People like those i try my best to avoid.......

Few more days to go
everything is looking good,
just a few finishing things to be done,
buttons to be sewn on
things to be ironed and so on.

im having friends over saturday night and sunday to crash and finish everything.
I have three more pieces to be made,
the casting was done yesterday and i edited a few pieces out of the show, so i have to fill them in.

My favorite is the leather gloves i made, I f fits above the elbows,
it a GLOVES WITH A FLAT PIECEOF FABRIC THAT SPIRALS AROUND THE ARM
and closes with a strip of Velcro.
not really my original idea, i borrowed it from an old clippings i got from an Alaia (my favorite designer, by a nose) gloves . I changed the idea and made it my own by adding a panel to the mouth of the gloves that sticks out at the wrist and mine closes higher on the arm than his did.
i have to change a few things about the presentation,
was supposed to be standing room only, but some really powerful people in the industry are RSVPing, they want seats.............
i hate to kiss up to people , but i need their support , so i'll try to make them comfortable.................
gottta go. Im two minutes over my typing time.
three now, everything has to be clockwork precision from now till monday.......

I was thinking about you an hour ago.
i was gonna call to see if you had recieved them.
Its been driving people crazy.
and having me in stitches.........
one lady called yesterday. and swore she had my greencard.
it took me like about five minutes to explain to her, and tell her to look at the back of the card to show her what it was.

I am still laughing............
