I like Zara, but not as much as I used to a few years ago. The clothes are somehow less interesting and more expensive..
Sometimes there still are some very nice pieces though! A couple of months ago I bought this amazing strapless party dress! And they also have some nice bags.

Zara woman in nice, although, like most people said, the sizes are really weird!
I can NEVER find a coat that suits me, either to big or too small, and i don´t really like the pants either, although they are better cut than they were a few years ago.

It´s a great place for when you feel the urge to buy something new! You can allways find something you like and without beeing to expensive...and the sales are just great!!! :D
Lately they also have some nice shoes and bags.

I really don´t think that there is a comparison between Zara and H&M...apart that both are multinationals in the clothes business.

H&M is a bit cheap in every sense, from the store conception to the disposition of the stuff in the store, the decoration, and even though is also available widely in Europe just like Zara, it´s much more turned for the family market and although Zara also sells for teens, men & children, the clothes in the store are less tacky and the collections are better chosen.~
The quality is poorer too.

I buy stuff from H&M too, but it´s just my opinion.

I was so surprised by the Zara in Houston. So many wonderful, clean basics along with fresh trendy items, but unlike other "trendy" shops, they're not far behind fashion. I've been loving nautical looks lately so I was in my element as I walked in recently.

I like Zara, the interior is very spacious and fresh so boutique like instead of being a ram jam high street store, I like how the one on near Bond St is clean and chic downstairs and fresh n funky upstairs.

I agree with Sofialuv, H&M and Zara are completely different except for the fact they're multinationals. I love H&M, always find something interesting and for 7 euros you take home a shirt. Zara is more expensive and I prefer it. Both good stores, in a commercial way

I really didn't mean to compare Zara to H&M.. But I was just saying that when you go into a large shop you always have to take some time to look though the stuff they have... so you can make a good choice..

oh i love zara!! and they opened 4 stores in less than 1/2 year in Hong Kong!!
it's just swamped with people every day.. lol

I've been keeping my eye out at EBAY for new Zara items...and I haven't found anything from the past couple of seasons. I'm surprised Europeans aren't trying to sell this stuff to those who don't have a Zara near them (Americans would probably overpay to get this stuff!)

Zara is one of my faves.. Especially their jeans, I have bought a zillion jeans and the best-fitting ones have always been from Zara. I usually find nice jeans, skirts and pants from there but for some reason not so many tops. It's like a minute from my house and they've expanded the casual floor so it's also fun to shop there!

i havent tried the zara jeans yet, but i found some great sh*t there. they make great skinny fitting dress shirts. the great part is the sleeves are skinny as well as the torso. looks perfect under my dsquared suit.

I have only recently started shopping at Zara for everyday pieces but I have to say that I'm impressed with what I have seen so far.

Their store here in Birmingham (UK) isn't too bad at all. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the current stock is good for a high street store.

I managed to pick up several pairs of shorts, short sleeve shirts & linen trousers which are all perfect for summer day wear.

I will be popping back in each time I'm in town that's for sure.

i adore zara, i've only been to one in mexico and one in spain. i find it to be a lot like H&M and i love that store too. but it's a fun store to shop at and they have a wide variety. it's basically nice clothes at a less price which means my heaven.

I went there last wendsday and I found so much! Their these white shoes that I am in love with, wich i'm getting next month, and this military jacket I just loved, and their was some great t-shirts. Can't wait until next month.

I went there today.. didn't have a chance to properly look around because of my friend rushing me to leave. I learned my lesson: never going shopping with someone else again. I want some new tees, and I think the downtown store will have more selection so I'll go there next weekend.

i love shopping in Zara shop , so many choices . Zara Spring - summer 2006 collection is so cute .
I bought some stuff in H&M but i don't love this brand . Its quality is not good .

Knowing how often Zara stores get new items, sadly the things you liked might not be there next month. But there will probably be something else nice. ;)

I like Zara, but being a bit more expensive than H&M, my student budget makes me perfer the later. And, as I mentioned in another thread, I find their stores to be too light and too crowded.

Zara is a saviour when it comes to buying officewear....not good for anything else though.....

Americans have Zara! Well the only one I know of is in Houston, but I'm sure there's more.
