If you guys want to buy Zara shoes that are sold out in Europe, head over to Asia. I was in Singapore/Malaysia last week and saw practically every single one you mentioned in the thread. But I so agree, they are really uncomfortable so I decided against them. Comfort is very important to me. Plus they are not cheap.

Also it seems I can only buy their casual line (TRF, Basics and others), cuz the more mature line (Zara Women?) is always too big for me. Even if it's XS.

I don't know what happens to the stuff in America, but the shoes don't get resold somewhere else, they are taken out of sale for the rest of the season. we receive some of them again when end-of-season sale starts. The other stuff (not the shoes apparently) gets donated.
The Balmain dress arrived in our store today, it's really nice, the fabric is cool, but it costs 129 €. Strapless looks stupid on me, so I won't buy it.
I don't find my Zara shoes uncomfy. But then again my feet are already completely broken and destroyed by high footwear.

Yeah, going half way across the globe for a pair of Zara shoes sounds completely reasonable. :innocent:

Zara shoes, when they disappear from stores, they normally appear again on sale or on their outlet stores about an year later....

Zara shoes are super uncomfortable on the other hand "Bershka", another store from zara's group, sometimes has similar pairs to the zara ones but MUCH more comfortable!! Their clothes, are obviously not for me but I have some shoes from there that are more comfortable than many flats i've tried on!

yeah we've mentioned the zara sizes thing before..its kinda crazy and ridiculous. i mean fine i get that even though the average woman is 5'3 its easier to make clothes for taller people because we can get it taken in but making an xs thats like a medium in other stores is just crazy...i've complained in store a couple of times about this but nothing the people there in the store can do i guess except pass the complaint to HQ.

i bought the balmain rip-off belt today!!:bounce: 25$ in the states.
(my store doesnt have the balmain ripoff dress yet, i had them check the style number. the dress hasnt arrived in the states yet they said)

here is the original version of the belt in white (style.com)

rollagasper, i saw a sequined blazer and the matching skirt in a north american zara store today. it might be slightly different than the one in the photos you posted.

hehe well, I didn't really mean it like that. I just happen to travel to Singapore for business pretty often.

Congrats! Great belt. I haven't seen the dress though, I actually thought the belt would come with the dress. The dress would look totally plain without the belt, no?

oh i just got that belt a couple weeks ago! (didn't know it was a balmain 'rip-off' though, lol...) but i don't like that it's not adjustable since it's pretty big on me and goes round and round on my waist but i bought it anyways cuz i luv it! sigh...the sacrifices we make for fashion...:p

^yeah, because they are always one size. Pretty dumb. I'm not the smallest person but the waistbelts go around my hips. lol.

I went to our Zara today. Just wanted to share some pics with you guys. Sorry for such a bad quality of the pics.

This is the famous Balmain knock off dress and a belt. The quality of that dress is really poor!

Price: 120 or 129€ (not sure) and 15€

Another dress from their new campaign (50€):

Love these shoes (80€):

Really nice bag, but 100€? No thank you!

Love this combination of a leather jacket (200€) and a scarf (70€). Scarf is a bit too pricey, no? I can make it myself. All I need to do is to tear a curtain.

Another shoes I love:

70 € for that freakin scarf? There's a dress made from this fabric, that's a hundred bucks. Stuuupid.

zara's always expensive just because...some items may be worth it but some others are just too much...
and why is the dress 50 and the scarf 70?? lol. was the dress that nay?
thanx for pix.

The price of the Balmain knockoff dress is insane
I'm not sure how I feel about the belt though. I wish it was a uniform kind of stud, not three different ones.

I love the bag too but I agree, 100 euros for a Zara bag is too pricey!!

ahh, I bought myself the fugliest Blazer today and it's soo wrong that it's wonderful again. It's a classic cut, black, but with the most hideous, large dark-disco-blue plant-leaf-print on it. I love it. I take pictures of it tomorrow. :D

(I kinda feel bad though because I'm worried it's Gucci inspired...Need to check that collection out again to make sure it's not. Because I said myself that one shouldn't wear something looking anywhere close to Gucci, let alone Gucci itself.)

i saw some great items today...
black t-shirt with zipper is my favorite!!
and they have a lot of pretty sandals

I spotted today Alexander Wang denim shirt although is a really basic men shirt the way it fits it' really cool
