Yep, one of my favourite Spanish labels.
One of those stores where you can get stuff at decent quality without having to pay a ton of dough....

They really do travel and holiday clothes well. The fit of their skirts is always ultraflattering and the linen trousers this season have been wonderful.....can't stop wearing 'em.

Zara linen trousers are the new jeans,in my wardrobe anyway!!

i mostly buy TFR, their shoes/bags are the best.. and yes, ai agree on Breska, real cheap quality, just for the 12-17 year olds really

i visited Zara few days ago , wasnt too excited, best thing i've found was this Prada sandal copy, but they didnt had my size gggrrrrrrr
their africa theme is bit boring, wasnt too happy with what i saw
they had a cute Hawai 'scene' pleat skirt but at the end i decided not to get it.. since Zara prints are like all over the place where i live

my problem with Zara is that i buy this year, i wear the next (so that its not 'obvious' ) this season i wear my last season's buys, they look pretty cool actually and nobody can guess where they come from

yes, their linen trousers rock, much more the ones with pockets
BUT i hate the cords decorative 'touches' at the waist

what prada sandal copy do they have Lena?

We have a Zara in hkg (and another on the way). I've found that Zara here has the worst selection of clothes/shoes. So blah-

Zara in Kuala Lumpur & Germany had very different clothes even during the same season...and much better selection than here.

Generally I walk away with nothing in hand...but every once in a while I'll find something I like.

they have the flat 'flipflop-ish' sandal with strap on the back so its cute
i think its from last season? at Prada they had it in gold in the show..

and yes, starlite is right, each Zara is a different story, Zara in Rome and in Paris have nothing in common with Zara in Athens (much more fashion forward in Athens)

Yup the stores have different stuff in different countries, but with some things (esp coats and jackets) I often recognise girls all over Western Europe in "Oh there goes a Zara jacket, winter 2004" etc.Same with (actually even more so with) Mango!!!

thanks Lena - I must look out for these since i think i know the ones you mean & I think I really liked them.

last time i was there they had a really nice petrol blue 'fake' chloe skirt in a silk fabric. It was lovely but I didn't get it.

I really like Zara's bag selection this season ,can't wait for sale to buy them :-)

but there wont be much left by the time sales come fruchtzwerg..

Are the sales coming soon.... I nabbed a blazer yesterday at full price. When the sale comes I might return and rebuy at the sale price...... That way I am sure my size will be there when the sale is on..... ;)

When are the stuff going on sale. The sales here are INSANE, there's always millions of people packed in the store and the waiting lines for the changing rooms are crazy. And by the time I go there, there's never much left. :(

Lena, i think I saw the sandal you're talking about, I didn't know Prada made them. Are they the one with a very thin beige sole and it's like a thong, but made of leather, very flat and ends around the ankle. Because it's so cute...... I want to get it in white once it goes on sale.... Hopefully they'll have my size left.

The sales will only be in late summer, surely? (they usually are, here).I just find that Zara clothes (and accessories) are rather of-the-minute and if you wait for the sales, you miss the moment for wearing them.

well I almost everytime I get the stuff which I like on sale , you just have to go on the first day or week and you will get your stuff. Last winter at sale I bought 3 pairs of shoes at Zara , which I wanted to get before^_^ We have here two Zara stores and in other cities who are not too far away we have Zara too, also my best friend (who's not living where I do ) can buy me the stuff if it's not available here. I'm a student and working , I don't have the money left to buy a bag for 100 €(--> ca.130 US $) So I will wait til the sale.

I always find the clothes I wanted before in Zara during the first week of sales. You have to go the first or second day at lunch time to find the best items.
Here the sales begin on the 1st of July, so I'll wait to buy a black leather bag I've seen.

I go in the early morning, so I find the best items for me while the sale period
