^I know in Spain normally start around 6,7 January depending of the part of Spain Ur from...

I'm from Galicia and there it always starts on the 7th because the 6th everything is closed (people are too busy opening presents). Now I'm living in Scotland and I hope I can still go to the sales here (not to Zara, of course, since I can get things cheaper in Spain) when I come back from my short visit to Spain during Christmas.

I really wanted one of those Balenciaga-esque blazers but I haven't come across them heree in New York. Has anyone else seen them here?

I bought a pair of the black patent leather Mary Janes with the low heel, very cute but my feet were killing me after walking for about an hour in them, but I'm not very good with heels.

There's a really cute short beige trench with a funnel neck that I really want (like US$129) ... and the leather jacket is so cute too (US$189). And I love the sequinned dress with the skirt all made out of feathers, but I'll never be able to wear it!

Zara is not allowed to sell the Balenciaga inspired blazer anymore (the blue one with the stripes) they have to pulll them off of their stores :-(

^^Yes I know, but I was lucky enough to, after searching for a long time, find one on Ebay:)

Can anyone help me with directions to the Zara in The Hague? I'm here, and I can't figure out how to get there ... PM me? If I just take a taxi, will the driver know where I'm going to?

AHA! I took a tram and found it myself! Woo hoo! Got a great pair of black slacks, a pair of black tights and a black turtle neck sweater dress.

Kind of bored there, though. Went to H&M after and liked it so much more.

^^i kind of agree with zara being a bit boring lately..
i went in the other day and all i saw was black black black all over the place..
no real happy or bright colors anywhere..
just a bit too somber for me..

i agree chrissy!
i was there and as much as i thought summer was good. winter is bad bad bad :(

I have almost given up on Zara menswear... Maybe my style changed or maybe they're getting lazy but I can't find anything remotely nice anymore. It's always the same velvet blazers, black chelsea boots and v-neck thin sweaters.

Yeah I feel the same way. I used to be able to find something somewhat interesting at Zara in the past but for the last 2 years nothing there has interested me. I tried on a pair of shoes there a few weeks ago and the quality was horrible. It's either that Zara menswear has gone down the drain, or my taste has changed significantly. Who knows..? It's sad Zara mens doesn't get any great designer knockoffs like the lastest Balenciaga quip with womens.

Went to Zara this week and only bought a pair of black patent mary-janes (about 2-3 inch heel, one strap - same style as the Miu Miu mary janes though) and the swing coat with thick black and brown stripes, Stella McCartney/mod 60s esque which I LOVE but it's too cold in NYC to wear it now. The coats are pretty good but not much else.
