^^there are still several pairs left at the Zara I've been to yesterday... Austrians are less stylish it seems

I looked at those sandals too, and I really like them but I'm afraid that I won't be able to style them very well. How are you guys styling them?

I picked up this dress from Zara yesterday btw. It's really gorgeous and the belt's really cool too. Unfortunately, it's too long for me.

from my blog

I tried on that dress at Zara and the waist line hit just under my boobs:( I guess im just to tall sometimes:(

Wear them with a mini-dress or skirt and black opaque tights or bare legs. You'll look like you stepped right out of the Paris street style pages!

I bought these gladiator sandals in DC this past weekend, and there were only 2 pairs left. I was agonizing whether to buy them or not since I'm on a serious shopping ban, but I gave in. Glad I got them, because when I came back the next day, the other pair was gone!

And I agree with Velony, they are very comfortable for what they are...I had no problems walking in them on the cobblestoned streets of Georgetown!

haha  thats true, when i went for buying them last week, there were shoes left in all sizes...

well, i haven't figured out yet.. i'm really in love with these shoes, they are really amazing. but i feel so damn dressed up when i wear them with a skirt or dress.
i think i will try wearing them with a pair of marlene-pants just to get a feeling on how it is to walk in them and then i might try wearing them with skirts or dresses...

The more you guys are talking about them, the more I want them badly again! But I'm also buying the gladiator sandals from H&M. Oh h*ll, I'm buying the shoes tomorrow!

I went a bought the flowery dress - I look really odd on the picture after I had to minimize the pictures from the camera. My legs look really, really short, but you get the impression.

Someone also requested a picture of me wearing the blazer: here you go. I just slipped it over the dress. Don't really know if the outfit works.

Pics by me.

I don't know how you guys can find those Zara sandals comfortable, I tried them on in store and have never felt anything as hard as them...ugh.

Advo: I have the gladiator sandals and I am planning to wear them with my H&M nude fringe dress, black opaques and a black Topshop tail jacket, for this saturday... :) But general I think they are very wearable, I can wear them with almost everything in my wardrobe. :)

I wore my sandals out this week with skinnies and my AA triblend raglan. Since it's still chilly out, I wore black socks with them.

I envy those who find them comfy. After some walking around, the balls of my feet were hurting. I'm gonna have to buy some ball cushions for padding.

Hm, maybe they are not comfy anymore after walking in them for a while. I didn't have a chance to wear them out yet because of the bad weather. I only wore them around the apartment and found them quite comfortable (not hard at all). But you can always buy one of those gel pads.

IMO, every high heeled shoe is getting uncomfortable after several hours of walking, so there's a difference between trying them on for a few minutes and walking around in them all day... But there are people who have no problem with walking in high heels for a long time, so it def. depends on the person wearing them!

Did you already shorten the straps?
If no, I think they already have the right length.

Heh, do I didn't I just tried a knot. But actually I found out the two straps are sown together in the middle, leaving some string for you to tie a bow on your shoulder. But I can just tear up those stitches and then tie a knot at whatever lenght suits me the best. Was that understandable? Anyways, you you guys think it looks OK? I was wondering if I looked a bit too wide in it?

Oh, and bought the gladiator sandals - I'm going to try them on with some outfits and test walk them to see if they are comfortable enough. And I also bought some stuff from *gasp* the children's department :innocent:They had this great trenchcoat in size 10 years old but it was too small. I think I'm a size 13-14 years old, but they didn't have it in that size at the moment. Still, bought two really cute dresses.
