Is it just me, or is Zara's cashmere stuff always quite long? I have one of their cashmere sweater(dress) from last year, and it seems like they are always long. I would like to have some cahsmere sweaters/cardigans in regular lenght.

I went by Zara yesterday to see what they've got in cashmere. Nothing new from the other years, really. And still all those long styles. I did pick up a turtleneck sweater/dress in cashmere, but didn't buy because it fit terrible. The smallest size was M, so it was too loose on me, and not really long enough too be a dress (for me) but too short for a normal sweater. How how is it to find a decent cashmere dress for the winter?

does anyone else find even their size S is actually quite big?! I often find I cannot fit into their clothes because of this reason since they don't always have XS.

i usually wear a S or M or size 4 to 6 but at zara i was suprised i fit a XS and sometimes even the XS is a bit large...

^^ well, I´m an XS, too but I´ve been quite lucky to find the stuff in my size. Sometimes I don´t so I buy the S if it suits me well.

The trick with Zara sizing is that it varies greatly depending on the garment as well as the "grouping" (TRF, Basics, etc.). I might wear a 36 in one pair of trousers and a 38 in another, and I fit into S and M in shirts/jackets. I always have to try everything on, whereas in H&M, for example, my size is quite consistent. As for not finding your size, that often happens because the item is often stocked in limited amounts according to how "sellable" it is considered to be. Zara sales are a dream for very slim girls though; I always find these wonderfully priced clothes in sizes like 34 and XS.

I totally agree with the inconsistency of their sizes but I find it the other way round here. Usually there are only medium and large sizes left and the small ones sell out pretty fast. I also sometimes have a feeling that some items only come in medium (and maybe a few large sizes) because I always wonder why there are sometimes only mediums of one item hanging on the rack (and at least 5 to 8 of them).

GasolineRainbow - As I wrote before I´ve been quite lucky to find my size (xs) in the stores. But I have to say that some of the clothes is a bit big, though. I tried on a lot of clothes yesterday but much of it didn´t suit me at all. In general most of the clothes from Zara suits me perfect.

essential - thanks. I´m planning on using it a dress, too. I´ve uploadet a better picture of it. (it´s made of wool and there´s a bit of angora in it as well)

Velony - I bought some stuff a couple of months ago - it was a basic tank which came in size small and medium - and just those two. Weird.
