I don't like the whole TRF collection very much. It's just too boho-ish for me. I actually prefer Zara Basic or Woman.

^ Same here, it's usually too trend-driven for me. Sometimes I also wonder if the TRF collection is produced at separate factories, because the quality is so inferior to Basic and Woman. I have clothes from Zara that have lasted me for years, but anything from TRF barely lasts a year if I wear it often.

thank you for the screenshots! i have the same leather jacket ali was wearing in pic #2 i love it!!

oh god i want those shoes so bad!
too bad we don't have zara here were i live :/

i always find some great cheap pants at zara and buy 2 of each pair!
today i found a great pair of superprocessed satin (so very soft) sort of harem pants.. in denim blue! perfect with my toned down look of the season :)

I saw amazing grey over knee boots at Zara yesterday. They were flat and made of very soft leather. I was soo tempted but I wasn't sure if they made my already short legs look even shorter >.< Plus they were quite pricey and since I wasn't sure about how they looked on me I didn't want to spend all the money on them.
They're quite similar to the Chinese Laundry over knee boots but they don't have any seams on them only one on the backside.
Gah..I can't get them out of my head, I've been looking for a pair of grey over knee boots on ebay for a while now and those were perfect...

Thanks for posting Style Amor.

I like some items from TRF but rarely buy in the end. It's too obvious and even cheaper quality than the other Zara sections.

i do like that plaid coat in the ads...and ali looks pretty gorgeous also  !

Oh no, the tarten coat in the top right pic from fall 08 is the exact same tarten as my school uniform was... not on my "to buy," list...

TRF line is made of a bit poorer quality because it is supposed to be youth line- one of a season items for teens, even their sizes in TRF are smaller than Basic or Woman. And at least where I live, teens barely wear those clothes for a season and throw them out, not because they rip them or anything, but because they get bored of them and jump on other trend.

I never thought of that, it makes a lot of sense. But the prices aren't much lower than the other lines, at least where I live, so those evil Zara masterminds must be laughing all the way to the bank.

so true! i've seen girls with items from TRF in my classes and you can just tell they won't be bringing that back out again....:p

That's crappy. Just because it's very trend-based clothing, that shouldn't be an excuse for poor quality - especially since the prices aren't particular cheaper than their other lines.

I just bought the popular Zara dress from last year on Ebay:

Ooh, I remember that dress. Its sunny, ruffly goodness tempted me on the rack, but alas, I was too much of a wallflower to make the purchase. Great buy!

is it me or those trf pics look terribly styled? i know it is zara, but it looks awfully cheap!!! i compare those to the sasha campaign and i jsut dont get it! seriously!

Thanks! I wasn't really into Zara last year, so the dress went completely over my head. It was only on this thread that I discovered it, so when I saw it on Ebay, I naturally had to buy. :D
