I saw look-alikes of these balmain in the window display today. They looked really good from afar, didn't peek at the price though. Hopefully it'll come in black too!!

hm, i guess they have different stock at different stores. the 2 zaras by my work had those sandals in yellow, blue, and black...all were made of suede.

absolutely lovely though.

the annoying thing about my zara is that the sale section consists of a table with a huge heap of clothes piled on it. no hangers. people have to paw through it.

how tacky and lame is this?

and zara needs to drop their prices 40% in the states i believe. its just ludicrous to be paying 2x what people pay in spain.

has anyone suceeded in having their store transfer another item from another store to your store? can i even ask for that?

^ the zara on 53rd & 5th in nyc is like that too. a huge table with a mountain of clothes you have to dig through. it's insane and everything gets destroyed.

Hmmm, no, my shoes are definitely leather and we only have them in this lovely lime yellow.
About the sale section: It's not supposed to be that way. Even Sale tables normally have only one type of folded items on, or they are coordinated tables with pants and tops. It's actually the people shopping who throw everything on those tables just like that and we dig through them for hours in order to get them rearranged. Sometimes I wonder how some people treat stuff they do not even own.

The boots w/chains above are Isabel Marant actually..
the Zara here (DC) has a rack of pieces "inspired" by that label.. there was pretty much an exact copy of the khaki lightweight coat that a few US boutiques just got in. the fabric was horrible though, really stiff.

I've seen that sequined blazer, I think it's from the Zara Studio line and thus quite pricey. I only saw it on my way out and didn't look at is so closely but from what I saw it's superb!

advo, those boots are very nice. I think my friend has the same ones. The tassle in the back gives them a nice twist compared to all the other equestrian style boots out there.

Wow, that's pretty expensive for Zara. I don't know if I can justify spending that much on such a flashy piece since I probably won't get too many wears out of it. Still, I went to Zara to look for it today, and the sales person told me they were all sold out in less than a week. I really didn't think that sequin jackets would be so popular! But thankfully they are having another shipment so this time I'm going to try to call them to put one on hold for me.
