I bought myself the same blue shoes! They are very comfy due to the stretch material and yet sky-high (12,5 cm. You know the first thing I do with new shoes is measure their heels. I don't do lower than 11 anymore. )
They fit my fugly blazer perfectly.
Hmm, I doubt the Balmains will return. We sent them back already and I have a strange feeling there were some issues with them...

PrincessImp., I don't know for sure, but we reiceived a note from Spain only a few days after we received the Balmain ones to take them off the shelves again and send them back. I found that weird, because they got tried on a lot, but they were far from being sold out. My guess is that they weren't sold out everywhere, but just taken out of sale.
I can't be sure though. I saw them again in our storage and we had up to ten pairs left of them. They are very similiar, maybe there were legal issues. We had the same thing with the Prada ones, though it wasn't as quick and I think that was because they didn't sell so well. After all, I'm the only one crazy enough to think 14 cm slingback pumps are a good SS staple.

irulan, I think it's very much a legal issue... I remember the same thing happening with the balenciaga fw07 knockoff blazer! there weren't any real issues with it, I got it and it was fine... sometimes zara just makes the items too close for comfort for the big houses!

Apologies if this was already covered (but this thread is so long) - which store in nyc is the best bet for not being too picked-over? I was thinking about going to the 5th ave one for the first time but maybe that'll be the wrong choice. I usually check the one near 59& lex; the one in herald square always sells out of the small sizes before i can get to it.

Zara's website has been updated almost daily and i've seen weird stuff everyday...
The catalog pics where the model was wearing the Balmain k/o's, the shoe strippes were painted black...spooky! lol
and then i found this....

I'm not sure, but the flat's on the left do look a bit like the flat version of the balmain k/o!!
