I want to see it too, but I haven't read the book so I'm reluctant to watch it.

The flm didn't fair too well with the critics.
On rottentomatoes, it got a rating of 27% and the Cream of the Crop reviewers (meaning the most reliable and prominent reviewers) gave it a rating of 25%. Adding to that, it only recieved two Golden Globe nominations....

yeah I know oh well I'm still gonna watch it! i recommend you read the book though before you see the movie, the books are most always better and if you watch the movie first you're gonna start picture the movie when you read it!

Yes, it's a very strict rule I have not to watch the film before reading the book.
I made sure of that when I read Pride and Prejudice this summer, but I still pictured Collin Firth as Mr. Darcy.
