I would think that IMG who put her first in the show package would not have let her do these lower level shows

I thought the same thing, but sometimes the agencies do that with a purpose. Unless the girl wasn't ready for the season or wasn't received too well by the casting directors, it could also mean she's holding something bigger. I'm hoping it's the latter.
