JT (japan tobacco inc) used yohji for its ad campaign. basically no one wants to be used though, in fear of being scolded.

^ I’ve been meaning to visit a Starbucks Reserve for months but never have the time! teaming up with Yohji for their Tokyo branch is ✨

ngl my tolerance for smoking is at its lowest right now lol.. it makes me livid (mostly because they started doing it in train cars here like we’re in 1981!). I’m fine with glamorised images of it though.. what they’re glamorising is obviously not inhaling stuff but the attitude of not caring about what’s seemingly the primary action (posing).

historically it was there as accessories too.
although for many over here it is one of the most uncool things.
