Nicole Kidman's dress is cute but the whole styling -and the size- was wrong.
it also looked a lot like lanvin, not a good publicity for YSL

I can't say that I had a look that I simply loved everything about.

I really liked Brittany Murphy's dress, especially when the light hit it the right way, but the hair looked too stiff.

Nicole's dress would have looked good if it didn't have that netting on top. If the whole top was gold, then it would have worked better on her. I liked her curls, but the headband has to go!

Gwen's dress was beautiful, but the look was ruined by her big alien head!

I liked the color of JLo's dress, but the shape made her hips look too big.

SJP's dress made her look pudgy. I expect more from this girl!

Charlize is gorgeous. Her hair and makeup were the best. However, that dress looked like a chiffon getup I had to wear as a bridesmaid! I hope she recovers for the Oscars.

loved sjp in chanel couture, czj looked standard, i feel like somewhere there was a disconnect in the dress code this year. the men (except for johnny dep) looked better than the women. i think kim cattrall looked like she was imitating j.lo and j.lo looked gorgeous, but like a barbie looks gorgeous...very stilted. i liked the alaia on coppola but she needed heels and different hair. i think more people should have done saab like tyra and no one should have done rive gauche although i know why nicole did it. it's the last golden globes she (or anyone) will be able to wear a tom ford ysl dress while he's still there. these girls are going to have to lock these dresses up for at least five to ten before they can say they're vintage tom ford for ysl.

My faves:

Sofia (I even like her flats ), her look suits her and doesn't look like she's trying too hard

Gwen, her hair is too light but I just that dress

Catherine Z-J... again, I like the celebs that stick to what works and don't try too hard to earn praises from the fashion critics. Her husband looks kind of though. It was funny when they presented him with that lifetime achievement award because he looks older in some of the movies that were made 10 years ago than he does now.

Susan Sarandon, I would kill to look like that at her age
