Man, I was really looking forward to seeing Maxwell's performance, and I was hoping he would sing Bad Habits instead of Pretty Wings...but I was so disappointed :(

I don't know why I bother, but...

Beyonce is NOTORIOUS for adding like one word to a song and demanding a writing credit otherwise she wouldn't record the song.

Also, Blackout is better than anything Beyonce has ever done. Fact.
 
Really? i suppose that is subjective... blackout is amazing... but some songs on beyonce new record are too, "halo", "dissapear", "smash into you", "radio", "thats why your beautiful"

I think the grammys is just beyonce night now.. shes won six right?
 
beyonce is very talented and should get credit where credit is due but dont claim undeserved recognition. Changing three words in a song doesnt make you a song writer or in Smash Into You's case, one word...
 
she gets credit for vocal arrangments and production but i suppose some things are overstated in her case, if we look at beyonce as an overall artist, im sorry, at 28, she is above and beyond the rest of her contemporaries.... this decade was hers..
 
at first i thought it was just sound problems, but i think i realized they were bleeping out Eminem LOL

sorry to not let this go but yes britney is a good entertainer but she is not a good singer or a song writer which are important qualities i look for in artists.

She was a wreck during Blackout and had to have very very very talented people to work with because yes it was a hit album but it was impersonal. It was robotic in a sense that she was probably given a selection of hit songs to choose from that anybody could have sang and become a hit because of the production.

That entire performance should have just been axed or not aired. It was seriously one long bleep with a few words here and there.
 
no it was definitely sound problems too, someone needs to be fired cuz that performance looks like it could have been amazing. so happy to see drake and eminem :D
 
i heard that to be eligible for awards/royalties their is a limit of 3 top contributors for song writing. I also hear Beyonce's dad/manager would make her write if there was only two song writers and i guess write more than the third if there was one.

i dont know about you but thats sick.
 
initially i thought taylor did not deserve that but she sold ALOT of albums last year so at least in some measure it makes sense.
