I just saw the movie Knowing with Nicolas Cage and remembered seeing this thread, regardless of the year and the sci fi, that is one creepy movie...

Whatever is going to happen, it certainly worked as an incentive for me and my friend to finally come up with a date for our trip around the world.. spring/summer 2011. kazakhstan, here we come!!.

My brother is a massive skeptical with all this. he was telling me about the oldest bible in the world or something thats written in code, and when they worked the code out it spelt out all of the big turning points in humanity 9/11, mother theresa. obama. etc. even down to each and every persons name, life, occupation and date of death.

all the predictions come to a stop in 2012.

so it questions. why has it stopped? end of humanity?

who knows.

then a film come out called 'knowing' which basically summed up what my brother was on about. should really watch it because that says about 2012.

i think its too much of a coincidence that all these predictions point to 2012.

Not sure your brother classifies as a skeptic. Usually skeptics don't believe what they read. I have to say the world has been predicted to end over and over...it ceases to be very convincing.

Ah! I saw that movie and it completely freaked me out. Half because of Nicolas Cage and half because of the solar flare.
