62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations 2010

I actually love Glee and think it deserved its noms and Jane Lynch gave such a lovely speech for her win (she probably deserved to win the most out of the nominated actors for Glee). It was rather neat to see Modern Family win so much, I wasn't expecting it to do as well as it did even though it is critically acclaimed I thought Glee would sweep all the awards away.

Thanks for the winners list!
Looks like LOST was totally snubbed! :shock: Matthew Fox and Terry O'Quinn should have won.

Wow and here i thought either Tina or Toni will win the Best Actress award :shock:
And ALEC!! :cry::cry:

Well kudos Emmy for not putting the same old same old on their winner list this year.

This years show was quite boring but it was alright. A few good laughs from Jimmy and Ricky. Jimmy is probably more suited to the MTV crowd. I'm about 95% happy with the winners.

I'm so happy for Jim Parsons. The Big Bang Theory is comedy gold. Also happy for both Modern Family and Glee. Yay Jane and Eric. Edie Falco is an AMAZING actress so it's no wonder she got it.

I've never been able to get into Mad Men so of course I would rather True Blood, Dexter or Lost win Best Drama especially Lost since it was the last season and it will go down in TV history as one of the most watched and loved shows ever. It would have been fantastic to give it to Matthew Fox but Bryan Cranston is such a great actor. So happy for Kyra Sedgwick when you're up against the Glenn Close it's hard but she is so good on The Closer.

Even though I can't stand Claire Danes I really want to see Temple Grandin. It looks really interesting. Hope I can find a torrent.

I will also never get over the fact that there is awards for reality tv. These shows do not derserve awards especially not Emmys. While I admit that I watch the Rachel Zoe Project which to me is more like a doco (not a competition) the other shows like Survivor, Amazing Race and The Apprentice etc are way pass their use by dates and need to go away. Same with American Idol.

I loved the opening number- Jon Hamm and Betty White were just the funniest!

Very happy with the majority of the results this year.
Mad Men is the best drama on TV right now and 3 years in a row deserves it.
Thrilled for Jane Lynch, Jim Parsons, Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, Kyra, Edie and just about all the acting awards. Especially chuffed for Archie Panjabi who is superb playing the most mysterious, sexually ambiguous character on prime time TV right now.

Yes!! :woot::clap:

Neither did I, if it weren't for the fact that I was so tired I would have jumped for joy! :bounce::clap:
I thought 30 Rock would win again or Glee, but I'm so happy for Modern Family...
Glee really should not have won other than maybe directing and for Jane. It's such a teenager show, so there's a lot of (melo)drama. That's why Chris didn't win, because his character is so preachy, and Lea (who's a bad actress and her character is very dramedy-ish). Plus those two are so young anyway. Same with Matthew. Jane is the only "comedic" character, although I can't be alone in thinking they design the show for her to star :unsure:
To be honest, I wish Neil Patrick Harris finally got an Emmy for HIMYM, although at least he got one :ermm: and I think Cam is the best character on MF :heart:

I'm annoyed that LOST was so ignored this year. But glad that Modern Family got the attention it deserves. Funniest show on TV right now!

Neil Patrick Harris should have gotten an Emmy for his role on HIMYM... he's such a fantastic actor and deserves all the awards which he's been nominated for, although at least he got one for his guest staring role which was nice. Oh well... their is always next year! :D
