A. P. C.

anyone seen or tried on the parka with the removable lining? :flower:

i'm thinking of getting it, but am also quite liking the trench, which i tried on at impulse. it was not the right size for me, but i thought the cut was great so i'm a little torn between the two.

the parka seems much more useful for seattle weather, but 550 is rather steep...

I ordered it. Alas, it's too big :(. It's really, really beautiful and the quality is really good. It seems that a.p.c. stepped up the quality, last season's stuff wasn't all that good.

It's more olive, than the pictures would have you believe, and it is warm.

I am hoping they can find an xs for me.

also, the sleeves are pretty long.

and that's it, if you have any other questions pm me.

thanks juliet :flower:

paged you about the xs.

I only just realised that they ship to Australia

my APC parka arrived today in the mail. it's quite lovely (just as juliet described!), is nicely constructed, and snuggly. the color is olive and it is a really nice heavy weight cotton. i really like that the lining is removable, as it looks great without it, and will be very functional for when it's windy but not freezing cold. :bunny:

i still think it's overpriced, but it seems like everything is now days.

besides, i have yet to find anything similar.:lol:

no photos - my canon suffered a memory error.

here is a pic from totokaelo:

you can pull the little strings in at the bottom for more of a balloon shape. very cute.

juliet, i'm glad you wrangled it from apc.

i'm glad i sprung for it. i don't think it would have made it to sale. i can't believe how fast it's selling out elsewhere too.

the stripey sweater is adorable too :p

And there goes my love for that sweater down the drain now a celebrity wore it.

I LOVE LOVE that Parka you girls bought, but it's so overpriced...I'm still deciding...^_^

I really want that heart pocket sweater too

I want that sweater too! I saw it a couple of months ago in selfridges and fell in love, it's beautiful. Why must everything beautiful be so expensive!?

^how much is it in pounds? in the website it's like a bit over 100 euros, when converted to pounds it can't be that expensive, no?

Did anyone else find the material on the heart pocket sweater a bit thin? I tried it on a couple of weeks ago.

I am really not sure about the quality..

I think it was meant to be thin, it's still part of the early Autumn collection, the winter sweaters are thicker. The A.P.C. quality is usually excellent but in my opinion I would not wash it, it doesn't look like it will handle water.
