That bag is hot!!! How much are you selling your bags for, if you don't mind me asking?

Great painting, Purple!

Usually from 180-250... maybe more maybe less.. depening on material costs and how much time that i put into it.

Deborah.. that's my plan.. Just have to get the financial backing. :)

Cool. So how much was the material cost and time spent on that bag? I'm really interested in what it actually takes to make this stuff. It's so rarely discussed.

I just found this thread, it's a lot of great stuff here!! Complimenti..

The other week i did this cat-print that I'm going to silkscreen on the bags below..

The leather for this bag was 60 something. Bright purple lambskin.. but that's not counting all of the other things that went into it.

I spent 10 hours on this bag(I spent more time on this bag because it's lambskin.. lamskin is very evil when you need to sew it).. between adjusting patterns, cutting materials, shopping for materials, gluing, sewing, and finishing.

Last christmas I decorated a few lamps, one is missing, it has an art deco cat.

Luna, that's gorgeous! You've got some serious craftswomanship skills.

Wyatt, I am simply adoring watching your talents develop and grow. Have you settled on a school yet? You're gonna take 'em by storm, wherever you end up.

Emi, your little tote bags are so cute and cheerful. Very nice, indeed!

Betty, I'd love to pass a compliment on to you, but your images aren't showing up :(

Purple, as always, you astound me. There's a very brooding, disturbing sadness in those images.

And nooooow, for something completely different.

I wanted one of those little blazers you see everywhere, after trying on a Cynthia Steffe one. I had 2yd of 45" wide blue/lime-green silk dupioni laying around, so I decided I might as well test out the pattern on that. In person it has a very 1960s feel to it. The pattern was originally not at all fitted, and I wanted my waist to show, so I added the half-belt, and left the edges raw and fringed on the half-belt and the pockets to show off the wild, lime-green weft fibres. I left the jacket unlined because the inside of the fabric is slick to the touch, plus it simply looks darn cool!
