A Second Lookbook

I'm painting my friend Alex for a weird conceptual painting. This shot is about 10% of the painting, about a square foot. It's like 3' by 4'. She's looks pissed... This picture doesn't do it justice, but I'm still proud. I'll get a better one soon:

I like the striking look actually. I know what you mean by the pissed look but I'm really into it for some reason and I also believe you should leave the eye bits uncolored.

But than again I'm a loon hahahah

Oh and thanks for the tips about the art industry as well on that other thread. I really appreciate it!

just thought that this topic deserves a bump:)

Fantastic JR! ... what media did you use to draw on the shoes? Just normal fabric felt-tip pens?

^ well ...just regular felt tips (they work the same as fabric) :innocent:
im glad i did it...i got the shoes in the sale for 99p :p

That's what I call a bargain!

Won't the felt-tip run when the shoes get wet?
Or are they only for artistic purposes, and not to be worn?

^ im not too sure about that yet...

but as far as im concerned...white trainers will get dirty anyway (i know what im thinking but dont know how to type this so it might look odd :p) - so they will last the same either way ?

Acrylic paint, dilute it with a little water and work it into the fabric. Then hit it with a clear, matte spray a few times after the apint dries. ;) The acrylic with flex with the fabric, except where the toes bend. Then it just cracks.

JR1, great job! amazing work 11minutes and Dizzydi!:woot:
a cover for friend's book:

Just a doodle
