Anyway,Adrianas look isnt anything out of the ordinary. I can post two regular girls that look exactly like her,but I wont since I don't have their permission.

hmm this girl reminds me of someone, but not adriana.

i think to be completely honest every model has SOMEONE who resembles them a bit. whether its in the modeling industry or in "real" life. that's why i try to avoid completely and repeatedly dissing a model on this site, coz u know what? u never know if someone reading this looks a tad like that person. what if someone has giselle's nose and i comment on how big and ugly it is (i actually never noticed her nose til someone pointed it out to be honest) and then someone on the board with a similar nose reads it and feels bad about themselves. i know someone who looks a little like alessandra ambrosio, so even tho she's not one of my favorites, i dont want to completely trash her coz u never know if someone who looks like her feels hurt by something like that. i have adriana lima's smile (gummy, and my teeth are a bit crooked) so every time i read someone really horrible about her smile it hurts (i'm not saying u have to pretend to like someone that u dont but the rude & all the time can be very hurtful and offensive).

and i'm not really directing this post to u seven, ur comment just opened the door for something i've been wanting to say for a WHILE.

My mom says Adriana looks a lot like a handful of Italian girls she went to high school with (St. Maria Goretti in South Philly, in the 60's

Part of Adriana's appeal, to me (and she's my all time favorite model), is that she does often look very....approachable? I don't know if that's the right word. I don't want to say "real person" because everyone's a real person - but sometimes these models (including many of my favorites like Maja and Valentina and Oluchi) look almost too perfect or different to seem like anything other than a fairytale princess or something. They tend to look like characters, creations. Adriana looks like someone you could see walking down the street, going to the supermarket, a bookstore, or the bus stop. Stunningly beautiful, but in an earthly way. Just my opinion

I completely agree!! Adriana has always been my favorite model, even if she doesn't do high fashion runway shows. I think she is unbelievably beautiful in every way, yet she seems approachable. I remember seeing her in an interview and she seemed very sweet and down to earth. But then in the VS catalog? Damn, she is SEXY!!! And I'm saying that as a straight female. She's a great model, even if there are other girls that look somewhat like her, she just has something about her personality and the way she carries herself or something that makes her special and sets her apart from the rest. Adriana is great.

Yep I agree, shopsmuch -- if you've ever seen her in a live interview than you know what a contrast her real personality is from what she projects to the camera! It makes her all the more interesting...yes she is a great model, in a world of not-so-great ones, IMO!

a year or two ago i saw her in a restaurant in new york (i dont remember the name but its across the street from the le parker meridian). she looked kinda weird because she was so tall and had such a mature body but a really young face. i remember seeing her digging into the bread and then eating creamy pasta. i really hated her for being able to eat that and looking so skinny.

she had her back to me, i only saw her face when she came in and when i went to the bathroom to get a better look.


she was alone and on her cell a bit, so i couldnt really get a feel for her personality.

As many others posters said if you dont like a model you skip the thread.

But it seems you DO like her...since you keep coming here every day and now... what a surprise... curious about how she looks or if she is nice or smiling. LOL
