Just a personal anecdote. As I aged (I'm 28 now), my face has gotten wider than when I was in my teens. And I'm a guy. So I don't buy the argument that just because her face got bigger it means she may be pregnant. your body changes as you age, and it includes your face.
 
Sad but true ^^ Thats coming from a young woman :) lol With this whole pregnancy thing, I dunno, Ill just wait and see. Either way Ill be happy for her.
 
I want to see her career get even bigger before she settles down. She definitely has the potential to be a big well known name. Not that she's not well known, but she's well known for her VS work, not because she's Adriana Lima the model. I wish she would walk down more famous catwalks like Gisele does. That is, like Dior or Dolce Gabbana. Most of the catwalks I see her in are for smaller brands, or only in Sao Paolo fashion week.

Exactly. Some people still think Adriana is still in her early to mid early 20's. The woman will be 30 in less then 3 years.

She hasn't done runway in quite some time, really. Her last was Luca Luca Spring 2006 (I believe). I just think she isn't considered skinny enough in the catwalk scene, which is sad.
But, I do agree. I really would love her to do some amazing fashion shows.
 
Again, the rumor was not based on just her face....oi. It was based on a list of convincing facts and things adding up to the possibility. I wasn't just saying Oh her face is bigger she's preggers Oi. I've just decided to let time tell, like I said I wasn't basing it off of one or two things....like I've said like 1000 times now...anyway only time will tell but I'm happy either way for her. I hope wherever and whatever she's doing and whatever is going on in her life she's happy, cause honestly that's all that matters...

Also about settling down....um she's getting married this June so....as for runway she did some pretty big names back in her runway days, and was tied up in some pretty nice campaigns as well. She walked for Versace, and was the face of their campaign one year, she was in Dior several times, she did Galliano, Armani, Guy Laroche, RL, Pucci, Richard Tyler, Valentino, and Vera Wang many many times. Not to mention the campaigns she did...it's not like she started off just as a commercial model...I get tired of people thinking that.

don' t most women's faces get more gaunt with age? angelina jolie, monica bellucci, and so many others come to mind. well unless there is weight gain involved, but isn't a general rule of thumb that your face loses fat as you get older? obviously this isn't the case for everyone . .

i do think she looks fantastic lately though. i had lost interest in her for a couple of yrs b/c she had lost her appeal in my eyes at least. the darker hair suits her much better and she reminds me of the old adriana i use to find jaw droppingly beautiful
 
I was thinking the same thing ^ (about faces thinning w/ age not the other way around) :p I wouldn't say gaunt though, maybe "more defined" lol

which adriana's face was really thin and defined in the vsfs 08
 
I just saw on the E channel (on the red carpet for the academy awards) Adriana will be there!!! ( and I think Miranda also) they said they will be hanging out with them all day!

she did a Versace campaign?? i'd love to see it! what season?

actually - i'd love to see any of these older campaigns. i know she did a bit of high fashion work, but i'm definitely one of those people who thinks that she's essentially entirely a commercial model. though, i would love to be proven wrong with some great old pics.

the thing with Adriana is -- i think she has the talent to be a great high fashion girl. she's just toooo hot. haha.

Yes for the 2004 HC line. She also was the only model other than Hana to present the collection in paris that year.

She did a lot more high fashion runways...but the problem was she started in NYC in 97 and was picked up by vs in 98 and signed as an angel in 2000. I have a feeling she would have gotten much further had VS not signed her as soon. She was a fav among several designers.
