She hosted and headlined the event for Swarovski, which is why I said it says a LOT about what her part in the VSFS will be. Since they and VS are big time partners.

No she can't speak spanish.

Don't blame VS, most of their models when they hit the red carpet are repetitive and boring. Blame Adriana for having fun and loving her job, and flirting with the photogs lol.

I think she can speak and understand some Spanish. Most of it isn't that much different from Portuguese. And she's made a lot of friends there in Spain and I'm sure they probably don't speak English as well. There has to be some understanding somewhere.

I'm sure she's learning. Portuguese and Spanish are very similar either way.

She looks lovely. I like the dress, her whole image and most of all: the hair...love the cut and highlights!!!

And the poses...YES...quite atrocious. Its so VS. She cant escape that VS attitude anywhere she goes. Sometimes, its hard to take her seriously and picture her as a serious HF model unfortunately. If she looses those fake gestures and over the top HAPPY attitude, at events like Swarovski, she will look 10X better and more elegant and sophisticated.

Oooh, and for those who might misunderstand me...I find it quite normal here in America to act all funny and happy all the time, and gigle and look fake..such is the image if VS, and people love it, because they relate easier to the person. However, in Europe, that is not the case. So, such over the top gestures, all the time, are taken in a negative way. Just to clarify

While I love her faces (honestly I think it shows she's having fun) does anyone notice she DOESN'T do them when it comes to events surrounding the VSFS...I find it interesting.

Haha, that's because she's probably so drained from not eating anything (or what she wants at least) and working her butt off for the show. I would be cranky too or at least not have the energy to make funny faces.

Not always, hell about a month ago she was very serious in her photos and all the SAME people were complaining about how serious she was....

Anyway yea she seems to serious/smile and have fun but not as much around the vsfs events.
