I was thinking the same...She hasn't done many runway shows lately except for Luca Luca and VS.

I think her career is starting to pick up, she is doing Victoria's Secret, and appearing in every line for them, she is a major star in thier runway show. She is the face for the largest makeup company in America, and around the world.

Models like her (like Alessandra and Gisele) Don't do much runway, sometimes they do one fashion show where they really like the designer. Designers don't like to hire models like her, because they are who they are, and when they come out on the runway people look at them and not at the clothing that is being modeled which is not the point, a runway show is to show off the new fashions not how big the supermodels are in the show. She did SPFW last year. Gisele only does about 1 or 2 shows a year and her career is about as hott as it can get. Adriana is becoming a more famous face, and is one of the most requested models of our time.

Her career is not ending or slowing down anytime soon. Not long ago she was the ONLY model in the industry with 3 multi million dollar contracts.

She's really big in Sao Paulo fashion week.Appearing in all the swimsuit shows.I haven't seen Alessandra or Gisele yet.But she's come a long way from a poor girl in Brasil to a top model.

I found this on a Mysoace profile claiming to be Adriana, she says this is from her camara phone I don't think it is really, but she says it's proof and everyone believes her does anyone have the real pic to dispute it.

According to a recent issue of the NY Times, or maybe it was the Wall St. Journal, as of last year she was the fourth highest paid model in the world, earning 4.5 million. #1 was Gisele at 17.5 million, and Heidi and Tyra were 2nd & 3rd, making less than 17.5, but more than 4.5 million. (And Heidi & Tyra are no longer even real models!) I wish my career were doing as badly as Adriana's.

I am honestly sick of the whole I wish she'd go back to her darker hair thing, she dyed it back in 2004, it's been 2 years obviously she likes it. It doesn't matter as much as anyone whines she likes it so she's going to stick with it. Her black hair was nice, but it got old, in an industry where every model is looking for something new to boost them back up they take it and it prooves Adriana did that, she looks gorgeous if not more in my opinon. It shows she Versitile. In an industry that loves the blonde blue eyed look, since she went a little lighter she has become more popular, and has become more known. She is pretty smart and she knows what is right, if designers or Victoria's Secret or maybelline said "Listen the light hair thing isn't working" She would have changed it back, but it's selling. She needs to stick with it, I personally like her better with it. I'm just sick of people complaining about it, it's been two years it's time to move on.
