I remember in the "making of Victoria Secrets Commercial" Special.. they were talking about Adriana and how she was shooting for a VS commercial when she was 15!... but the guy took her out because she looked like a baby.
 
so i just watched part of the vh1 all access angels across america tour, which included a behind the scenes look at their christmas commercial (which is what i think u were talking about charlotte) and they did say she was 16 when she started...and that the guy thought she looked like a baby til they turned on the camera or something like that. so thank u charlotte, for pointing me to where i needed to go to find out hehe :)

ITA! :D She just looks like she's casually slumming, and somehow, that turns me on a lot more than all those VS pics of her vamping it up. I guess I'm just weird! :blush::lol:

And yet, now VS features Susan Eldrige (who looks like she's all of 12 sometimes!) in racy getups in their catalog. God, talk about irony. ^_^

i remember this one photo of her that was just SO atrocious (i KNOW she can look better lol)...i couldnt understand WHY they put that in the catalog! her mouth was hanging open and she looked like she ... oh god i cant even say what it looked like but it was BAAAAD :doh:

Funny you say that because I noticed it too. In the catalogue I picked up from the store she was on one page. In the one they sent me she was on the cover but not very prominent throughout. :(

He almost sent her home b/c she looked like a baby. Then he saw her work and knew that she had "it." The rest is history.
 
oh no! i was hoping that the reason she hadnt been featured prominently was that she wasnt on the cover (the cover model usu gets the most pics in the catalog as i'm sure u know) but if u got one with her on the catalog and she's still not featured that much then this is sad! :(

anyway, here are a few more new pics from the VS website (www.victoriassecret.com) i love these! (maybe coz i love hats hehe)

:woot: Thanks Original Sin! I loooved the VS Swim catalog documentary! It has been a while since I saw it, but I remember how they woke Adri up at like 4 am to do her hair/makeup for the shoot, and she was so beautiful even early in the morning getting out of bed:blush:
she just came off as being really sweet and personable; it really shone through, and was the first time I really took notice of her. I remember when she was telling the story of how her and some of the crew went out to dinner and she ordered shrimp but she pronounced it funny, like "shreeemp" or something, and so she said that was her nickname after that! lol
 
AbbeyRoad, it was "spanky". She ordered a "spanky", but what she really meant was something else (what it is? I can't remember at the moment). :lol:

LOL! That's right...for some reason I thought it was shrimp! Maybe scallops or something? (I think it was some kind of seafood!):lol:
