This may have been mentioned before but I read on a myspace profile that Adriama Lima had retired about three years ago and that her twin sister Christobelle was modelling in her place. Apparently, they agreed for Adriana to live in Paris with her boyfriedn because she was in love and for Christobelle to model under the name Adriana Lima. As far as I know, the most recent photographs are not Adriama herself but in fact, her twin sister. Does anyone else know much about this? The profile I read claims to be Christobelle's.

i recommend using imageshack to upload the pics you want to post
its free and you dont have to register unless you want to. it generates codes for thumbnails, which is particularly helpful for those on slower connections.

and as for your av(atar) go to your User CP near the top of the page. then on the left hand side, under settings and options, choose "edit avatar" and you can upload one from your computer

it has to be 80 X 80 though, so a wee bit small

I don't think she cuts in on the runway. thats why she hasn't done hardly any high fashion or runways shows. Way too VS. I don't consider her a supermodel, I'll consider her a model but not a supermodel

not a huge fan of her on the runway. the truth is, i think most models, save for maybe a few, look like crap when photographed on the runway. it is really disappointing to me. but thats a side point.

i dont think she cares that she's not doing much high fashion. she's raking in more money than those who don't do commercial stuff. and most high fashion models can't do commercial so i wouldnt consider them supermodels either (idk how you define it, this is just me). imo, you should be able to do both to be a true supermodel. of course, the definition of supermodel has changed over the years, but my general feeling is if you can only do one, you will never be a super.
