Why is it a big deal he revealed that later? isn't the whole idea of being a virgin just not havign intercourse?

It's a big deal because she made this whole big deal about saving herself for marriage, for waiting to have sexual relations, for being pure, etc.

It's kinda like... okay, say there's a girl who is really promiscuous. She wears sl*tty clothing, makes out with every one she sees, offers oral sex, takes revealing photographs and hands them out... the only thing she does NOT do is have sex. Does that make her pure? Does that make her a role model? Of course not.

Jessica did the same thing, except she obviously wasn't that extreme. She was marketed as wholesome, Christian, a role model that young girls could look up to. She even said in the beginning that she wasn't going to show her stomach, that she was going to rely on pure talent (I believe this was in J-14 or something... one of the teenybopper magazines). So for Nick to come out and reveal that they did everything but intercourse (including oral sex) kind of throws out everything she said about wanting to be a good role model for girls and being a good Christian.

To relate this back to Adriana (since we're in her thread), it's the same on a smaller level. Adriana is saving herself for marriage because she wants to be a good Catholic and follow the Bible's teachings. I'm pretty sure the Catholic Church doesn't approve of posing topless or taking racy photographs. Adriana chooses to follow some of the Bible's teachings and ignore other parts. (Similar to how Pamela Anderson is a staunch supporter of PETA, but she has worn leather and Uggs, which are made from sheep, I believe)

It doesn't matter if it's your job or not. If you really felt strongly about your beliefs, you wouldn't risk it.

Anyone who denies having any faults is the most conceeted piece of garbage. She must be very insecure to be such a lier. Did i say she did???? But, normally when someone gives an interview whose peoples biased opinions are that they are perfect, they reveal some. She made herself sound so pompous and arrogant. Isn't being a hipocrit a fault??? it is in my opinion

^i understand where you are coming from, and in fact agree with half of it, but you also have to remember that when these jounalists go back to work after the interview and write it down, some words here and there could be changed therefore making her sound a little dumb and arrogant. Reading it on paper can also come across differently to how she meant it. It happens all the time.

That's basically saying that she said she never had faults. I can understand if you think she came off as bitchy. She came off as a little bitchy to me, but she also seemed sarcastic. I don't think she came off as arrogant. To me she was kind of defensive. I don't know if her being a virgin is true or not, and I'm not Catholic or religious, so I can't say if she's being a hypocrite or not.

Exactly! GQ is using those pictures as a distraction for their audience, anyway. Like my comments after I posted the interview...it's not her words that will be most important to the readers (Other than the virgin confession), so I'm not sure how much thought they put into writing or polishing the article...
