Yeah, but it's not based on beauty alone. It's about campaigns, contracts, etc. I'm just surprised and happy that she kept her spot even though she was pregnant most of last year. Alessandra completely fell off when she was, but I don't think these lists are accurate anyway because she would've still been on it (maybe lower) if she was getting her contract VS money. And I think most of the girls on the list including Adriana are probably making more or less each year. I think the VS girls especially are making more.

Yeah, I agree that Gisele could be boring at times, but her supermodel status is undeniable across the modelling world. Whereas, quite a lot of critics out there do not consider Adriana a "supermodel" , but simply a VS supermodel.
If it was up to me, exotic girls like Adri would have the full right to wear this title, but its not...lol...so Gisele tops it all.

Yeah, I mean I think it's great that she moved to Marilyn, but I was hoping she get more attention there considering they have a lot of the "it" girls right now. Maybe they have a lot planned for her this year, but so far we have yet to see anything groundbreaking. She deserves much more attention than she's getting there or it very well just could be her.

Speaking of her, I think its very unlikely that she'd walk thios year's VS show. Unless she drops 20lbs or unless they cover her all in tree branches...hahah

I think her contract is done. It was renewed for another 3 years 3 years ago, and 2009's show was the 3rd year.

It's always sad when a model's star fades, but at least she made millions, which is more than what most models can say for themselves.

But yes, Adriana for 2010!! I can't wait for the VS 2010 thread. I think she's definitely ready for a comeback moreso than what we've already seen from her.

I think she'll be a part of this year's show (Heidi) and do that whole thing Tyra did with the passing of the torch and give it to Adriana. I mean, they have to do something because I can't imagine Heidi going out so quietly. I can't wait for the VSFS 2010 thread either! I don't think Adriana has fully made her "comeback". I think it was just a little taste of what's to come.

Agree with everything said, and just to add:

Adri's biggest fame IMO came from VS, (or in other words, she is best known for that) so its not untill she returns to VS fully (catalogues and shows) that she has done her official comeback!

I have to think Adriana would the the main focus of attention at the next Victoria's Secret show. Unfortunately, I don't think the powers that be would give Adriana the attention the way they gave it to Hedi Klum.

I don't care what they do the next VSFS as long as Adriana is there and they don't do America's Next Top VS Model again, but I know that I'm just going to be disappointed with that one.

I wouldn't be surprised if she gets the fantasy bra this year again...honestly I don't think it would really surprise anyone. Esp with everything they are doing for her comeback, how much they are working her and how much they love her...I wouldn't be surprised at all.
