I would agree that I'm kinda happy Adriana (and Ale) is done with MDFT. TBH, it kind off lowered her status/prestige a bit. I mean, could you imagine a model like Gisele doing it?! Adriana is above that. She should focus on VS, prestigious magazines, and high-end designers now.

She hasn't moved on the list in years, even when she was pregnant which is good. I would love to see her get more campaigns though. A beauty campaign if she can, but I don't think so because of VS.

Does her VS contract have like a limit as to how many VS events she can do? I feel like they probably don't want to 'waste' her so much, so they save her for the best events.

I'm waiting for a Adriana/Ale event (just like old times).

I think she's gonna get more campaigns! I just feel like she'll get at least 1 major campaign this season. And a beauty campaign would be incredible, but vs loves her too much. They don't want to see that gorgeous face of hers selling for other brands that's why they're paying are millions just for there beauty line.

The gap between Adriana and #3 Kate Moss is pretty large so I doubt if her position is changing soon, something would have to happen to one of the top three for that to happen. It should also be noted that the Top 3 (Gisele, Heidi and Kate) get a considerable amount of money from business ventures in addition to money from modeling, so I guess another alternative would be for her to sign a deal to produce a clothing line or somesuch.

I think they have a quota to fill of events that they have to do each year. I think all contracts do.

And I don't think she can be a part of anything having to do with make up or fragrances because of her VS Beauty contract. That's why we didn't see her doing any VS Beauty when she was with Maybelline.

who knows? Her position might change soon. Kate is getting old and pretty soon designers and magazine editors will tire of having to photoshop all her pictures when they can hire younger models. It's just a matter of time before the cover and campaign offers decrease. And she'll have to rely more on her business ventures and i don't think that alone can give her $13 million. Adriana is off to a good start this year if you ask me.

Kate is getting old? Cindy Crawford has 2 covers this month, one of them is a Vogue Cover. D&G chose 'older' models for their fragrance campaign a few years ago. Christy Turlington is still the face of a cosmetic brand, so is Claudia Schiffer. Laetitia Casta was the face of Roberto Cavalli last season.. Don't even go on models getting old. Kate is one of the supermodel era..

Adriana is doing great. The things she does whether it's for VS or Vogue Brazil or on the runway for Givenchy.. but there I agree with Agee.. the gap between Adriana and Kate is too big. Business venture-wise as HF-workwise.

Now back to another question: Is it really true about VS and MDFT?! Can anyone confirm that... seeing the latest line-up I am seeing a lot of other strange things not referring to VS
