equinox, karma!
She definitely deserves more editorials and ads
Anyhow I had a brief Ai sighting!

On Monday I saw her at Tokyo's Narita airport with her husband and her adorable son. They were walking pretty fast so I only got a few seconds glimpse of her, but as far as I can see she looked amazing! She was wearing a black fedora hat, long black coat, blue jeans and little to no make up. Very simple but very very chic. Her husband looked/dressed the same as he did in backstage pics posted before. They looked a little mismatched imho, but I'm in no position to judge...
She was laughing and seemed really at ease and happy..but impossible to talk to, i guess because they were in a hurry.
She wasn't as tall as I expected, but definitely taller and leaner than your average Japanese woman. I thought she really stood out from the crowd but no one else seemed to notice her lol.
It was my first model sighting so I was so starstruck the first moment I saw her, I must've been

for the next 10 minutes. And just when the surprise was wearing off, she quickly breezed past me again...but this time I was in a mile-long line to check in, or else I would've stalked her like a freak...
Anyway, I skimmed thru the Feb issue of Vogue Nippon and saw a very short Q&A session with her as part of their "2005 Women of the Year" special.
Here are some answers my poor Japanese managed to understand:
Q: What's your happiest/defining (?) moment of the year?
A: When I became a mother.
Q: What's the most expensive thing you bought this year (or maybe it was season?)
A: Cashmere sweaters. Actually I don't remember.
Q: Where do you see yourself/hope to be in 10 years?
A: Living and working in Paris with my family.
Q: Who is your female role model?
A: Don't have one.
Q: Who is your ideal man (??) ?
A: My husband <3
Sorry I can't really remember the other four questions...And the answers were just as brief for all the other women featured, so it wasn't her giving short answers or being rude or anything hehe.
Although my Japanese roommate said though she's relatively well known in Japan, Ai isn't that popular because she seems overly confident and self-centered.
She also told me that rumor has it Ai got cosmetic eye surgery to enhance the size of her eyes in December...not sure if its true tho!
Lol well whatever, she's still one of my favorites

and though for a few seconds it really made my day to see her!
