April 2005"Hello everybody! On April the 1st, I returned home from the hospital. Both me and my baby are feeling well and even though I only get around 3 hours of sleep each night I truly enjoy life at the fullest. *smiles* Babies are great!! Sooo cute!! 20 year-old Ai Tominaga started her career in Japan 3 years ago. After establishing herself as one of the top models in Tokyo (appearing on the cover of Japanese Vogue as well as in numerous cosmetic and fashion campaigns), she confronted the catwalks of New York, Paris and Milan, where she was met with immediate success. At 5'10” tall, she quickly became a favourite of designers such as Tom Ford for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano for Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton, Anna Sui and Ralph Lauren. Her print work includes such prestigious publications and talented photographers as American Vogue with Annie Leibovitz, French Vogue, British Vogue with Nick Knight, Harpers Bazaar with Carter Smith and Peter Lindbergh, ID, the Yves Saint Laurent campaign shot by Steven Meisel and a recent major fragrance campaign for Gucci shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
One of Ai's favourite pastimes whilst travelling is shopping. She furthered this interest recently by opening a clothing boutique in Tokyo called "Deep Sweet Easy" where she serves as Creative Director.
