Ai has had many big campaigns in the past like Gucci fragrance and YSL, she has been on the covers of big magazines, but still people think about Hye Park and Du when they think of East Asian models. So yes, I do think Ai in underrated, at least in the western part of the world. And although I love Ai, I do think her big career is over, she hasn't done anything big the past seasons.

She is just so fabulous. I love everything about her! Perhaps the reason she's not doing shows is because she doesn't have to. When she gets invited to attend Valentino and Dior shows it's not like they said, no we can't cast you to walk for us bur you can sit in the audience and admire? It's much easier and even more fun to sit back and relax and watch other models do the work.

Remember, Ai is now not only a fashion model, but also a mother and a wife. She has a family to care for, and family is REALLY vital for Asian women/people.
