I was wondering the same thing. That's very strange since that's her maiden name. Her last name is more prominent in japan but it's unheard of to make the husband take her name. It seems very methodical on her part.

i'm really thinking that due to Bruna, Ai is booking a lot less gigs these days. Bruna looks very much like Ai, but has a softer face, less ethnical and not to forget, much younger.

Ai was totally absent from the big names this year...

Personally I think they both have different appeals. Ai has her gorgeous cheekbones and her 'Ai-ness', whereas Bruna has her 'Bruna-ness'. I was staring at both their pictures for awhile. I see a slight similarity, but I don't think they look that similiar.

I saw her last night in Soho.
She was with her son, holding the new Macbook.

She is very tall. I think.. 180cm over?!
She has a very nice smile and a great aura.

When will her career ever be revived in Paris and Milan...She once walked the runways of Gucci, YSL, Dior and all those major designers...And there hasn't been a japanese model as beautiful and big as her so far....I wish John Galliano would use her again...After all wasn't she a fave of John before?
