No need to sorry.VS is not giving any contract details to outside and all of the angels contract details are in secret until they sign the new one. all of the angels contracts renewed last year Anyway we will see Ale and VS more eventough I do not think its possible She is exclusive for their beauty line and holds a very very strong contractI hope she ll become a name in the business soon.This year ll be Ale's year!

I guess that depends on your definition of 'fashion'. Most of what she models is very fashionable for real people. She works for several merchants that are accessible by the general public.


Now if you are referring to the silly costumes that are shown on runways then never seen again, that's a different matter. Most real people would never be caught dead in some of those ridiculous getups even if they were given away. Couple that with the fact that much of runway 'fashion' never makes it to any store and the stuff that does is so outrageously priced people can't afford it, I don't see why an already successful model would want anything to do with it.


Most of the girls so popular in the Supporting Cast section will never be known by the general public the way the VS girls are. 'Gemma', "Stam', and the others will never be truly famous outside of the relatively small 'fashion' world circle. No one outside of 'fashion' and it's fans will ever know who they are or were.

Alle on the other hand is well on her way to being a 'supermodel' in the tradition of some of the 80's and 90's names.

I completely agree with you although IMO the VS girls are only really well known in the US, whereas the supermodels of the past (80's and 90's ) were well in the majority of the world. To be a supermodel nowadays you will have to in all types of magazines, adverts, tv shows etc or just marry a really famous man

By fashion, I mean editorials in fashion magazines and runway fashion shows. Alessandra was starting with that. Back in 2004, when I first noticed her, she was doing fashion. I obviously don't mean 'what's fashionable to real people', 'coz that differs so much...

Yeah, real fashion models are not known as much as the VS girls are, but I like that fact. I don't really see how someone might want to be a sexy kitten for VS if they could be a real fashion model, except for the money, of courz But then, it's a job and I think they don't have a full control of their career, sometimes agents alone decide what the girl will do.

The thing I would disagree on, however, is that fashion clothes from the runways never makes it to people's closets. I believe it does, maybe with an exception for haute-couture, but still... Otherwise, where would the fashion shows and the whole fashion industry get the money to pay for itself ??

I think it's all a matter of taste, really. I just don't like the 'celebrity factor' in anything as well as commercial stuff the way VS is... I like real fashion thing. More 'artistic', you know.

The VS girls are more 'real fashion models' than any of the no-name runway girls in circus costumes could ever hope to be.

You're right Echoes.They say that instead the "skinny-hungry" runway models were gonna come the "curvicious sexy"bombshell-models.Too many skinny models are dieing lastly,unfortunately.So give it up for the VS kitten.

Both VS girls have succesfull fashion model past.Gisele,KK was number one on the list of models.com for ages...Ale and Adriana had also succesfull fashion career.What you said is nosense.VS is not playboy or maxim....Believe or not most of the fashion girls dying to replace those girls and their multi-mullion dollar contracts.And VS is a lot more respected now in the fashion community.There is reasons vs girls doesn't do fashion as much as they used to.They don't have time to do runways or etc.. and also they don2t need to do runways.Fashion models earns avarage 15.000-50.000 per runways and its pretty tough job,they can't make money from the mags ,the only thing they man make real money is ads.But VS models doesn't need to do that.They are making enourmous amount of money so they don't bother to do runways.Also when a models become really big they barely do runways.Yes at this point even if they want they couldn't do prada or chanel but they still can do some big names.But VS pays them sooo much all in all its all for the how much they can make the money.Plus vs gives models a name.In fashion business now,its all about unkown models who can only be succesfull for 3 years and than they ll dissappear.Ale and other angels are all immune to this.

Well Noone of the big VS Angels did SI.Gisele,Ale,Adriana and even KK never appears on SI.So it might be because of VS or something else.But Its interesting that noone of the big angels appear on SI.Considering that the they are the commercial supermodels now.
