Alessandra Ambrosio

Ale shot today for Glass magazine by Stewart Shining, hair by Davy Newkirk, makeup by Christy Coleman.

While I would love more prestigious publications, I must say I do love when Ale books the smaller independent magazines (Flair, S Moda, etc.)

^their covers are usually nice so that's great she's shooting for them!

I think the problem is that she doesn't have a consistent supporter in HF. The only editor/stylist who really ever loved her was Katie Grand and she hasn't used her in an editorial/campaign since Love's S/S 2014 issue when David Armstrong shot her in Miami. Jilian Davison at Glamour actually seems to like her a lot, so I'm hopeful for a US Glamour cover again.

No photographer aside from Stewart Shining really considers her a muse.

Russell James is a big fan of her right? It looks like he is becoming the main cover photographer for Vogue Mexico so I'm crossing my fingers for the future.
Her L'Oreal contract could open doors for her. She seems really happy of her career and what she's done so that's enough for me. Models are doing fashion weeks and print to promote themselves in order to get $$contracts. She doesn't have to promote herself anymore because she has big ticket contracts. If Adriana can make a big HF comeback at her age then Ale can make one too.
Imagine Ale getting the June July Issue of Vogue Paris, this would be a dream:heart:
Is it just me or the majority of Brasilian models are really shadowed by Gisele?

^VP June/July, she would be perfect for it, I don't get why Alt is using her...

Gisele seems more of a celebrity than a model, but I don't think they are shadowed by her because the main brazilian models now are very different, they each have a different look and you can't mistaken their faces with an other one. Remember the great ed for Vogue US by Meisel with Ale, Adri, Isabeli & Raquel? That was so perfect!

I totally agree with y'all, guys. And I would like to add that at this point, she made herself after these years - of course VS has something to do with and I appreciate a lot - without a blessing of so many important people in this industry.

What I'm saying that it is incredible that she achieve longevity without all these things and she's still around. She's still here. Making millions, being sexy, being an icon.

Well as they say, "be so good they can't ignore you." Ale will be around for years and years so I know it'll happen at some point. I actually expect her to be on a lot of covers to promote the Rio Olympics. At this point her and Adriana are the biggest Brazilian models after Gisele. If we throw in HF models we have Isabeli, Caroline T, and Raquel Z, but that's it really.

^yes, but I don't think that Caroline and Raquel have that brazilian image stuck to them, probably because VS created that with Gisele, Adriana and Ale. So I guess that for the olympics it will be them promoting it, maybe not Adriana because she doesn't seem "involved" with Brazil anymore, not saying that in a bad way at all, but Gisele and Ale will be used a lot for sure.

According to Pamela Hanson's Instagram, she's photoshooting Ale this week.

Cristiano is the main star on the cover and in the editorial because it's the body issue of a men's magazine. I get the feeling that they only used her because she has a bigger draw to the American audience than he does.

Sadly, there is no way that she would get a June/July Vogue Paris cover. It will either be Daria, Lara, Natasha, or Anna. Vogue Paris loves to stick to their main girls. I think she can make a high fashion comeback but I think her best chances are in Milan and New York. She's really big here in America and she has Italian designer friends.

^I know it's almost impossible but I think she would totally nailed a VP cover. Just look at her Vivara campaign in 2012 shot by Mert & Marcus. She should shot more with them.

Her career really depends on Richard
He is her agent and best friend
He's doing everything he can
Her opportunities probably grow if Richard grows .. so her career depends on Richard

She did a photoshoot in NYC with her daughter Anja, makeup by Diego Da Silva, maybe shot by Pamela Hanson, really not sure but since they were supposed to work together this week it could be her.
