I'm not sure how a video of a sumo-wrestling fight could be seen as pretentious in
any sense of the word, but whatever..

pretentious - from dictionary.com
adjective1. making claim to or creating an appearance of (often undeserved) importance or distinction; "a pretentious country house"; "a pretentious fraud"; "a pretentious scholarly edition" [ant:
unpretentious] 2. intended to attract notice and impress others; "an ostentatious sable coat" [syn:
ostentatious] [ant:
unostentatious] 3. (of a display) tawdry or vulgar [syn:
ostentatious]
Personally, I think that there are far more helpful definitions
here.
Using your definition, you mean Alexa is making herself out to be more important/impressive than she actually is? I think she is very self aware, both style-wise ("It’s odd to have acquired this style icon tag, though, because everyone in Shoreditch dresses the same.") and career-wise ("People can look at me and think, ‘Wow, it really doesn’t take any talent at all to get on TV’. Hopefully, I can inspire a whole generation of children to do nothing with their lives other than talk **** on TV.").

Just watch any of the videos posted in the thread.
I think she has always come across well in videos
Her print interviews are more of a mixed bag, I cringed when she mentioned Nabokov, etc. in the Guardian interview.

I forgot to add "immature."
Here are two posts you've made in the past

i'm sick of this **. i've only known of her for three days, but as far as i can see, she ruined alex in less than a year. since they got together, he started smoking, dressing like a turd, and being walked by a woman like a dog. at least i see the light now.
Anyway, this doesn't have anything to do with fashion, so we should probably move on...
