Alexander McQueen Mens S/S 07 Milan

I love many of the sequined peices as well...but price and practicality will be an issue.

As for the collection I think it is beautiful. The subtle romanticism infused in the collection makes for a very nice outcome. The tuxedo jacket with silver lapels is one of my favorites so far for S/S 07.

The sequin pieces must've been selling well, u can see 'em season after season.
The point from the armpit to the chest looks a bit too straight for me. I guess the cuts of the jackets are intended?

its very spring McQueen. sping new McQueen ofcourse...

a bit jungle safari, meets vegas.

That glittery stuff screams drag king Elvis to me.

So like Liberace?

Anyway, the photography on post #2 is awesome. Upon that, it isn't bad at all. I don't dig the sequins myself, but that's just me.

I think it is quite amazing. So much can be done with fabric and texture to make the boring blazer very fit for summer.

This collection took Spring/Summer to a new level I think, it isn't dark and subdued, it's light and airy, much like the venue. Perfect for Summer

The collection is better on video, the elements are great, the lack of theatrics is wonderful, the cut is lovely as always, very polished and pulled together. The sequined sweaters are nicer than what was at Burberry. A play on Death In Venice is always welcome, these kind of male sirens enticing you to your death. I imagine it will cost an arm and two legs but this time at least it looks worth it.

I have to say...the theatrics of this collection are very beautiful! the clothes don't look too good though..

i really want to see more, but thus far i'd only wear the light blue striped jacket.

*and has there been a collection in milan with no pleated pants?!! thats is definitely one runway-to-store transition that will look stupid. :yuk:

Nice. Love the way the tucked-in jackets fit. Very langourous presentation.

It was a beautifully relaxed collection that balanced on the edge of refined and youthfully cool.

Only problem is that it was thoroughly boring.

I like the golden jacket look
but the others dont seem creative enough to me

I think this is one of the better collections so far. Would certainly invest in one of his suits/jackets.

Relaxed and beautiful. Even for a mens collection, I really love a lot of it.
