Alexander McQueen skull scarf (August 2004 - November 2010)

How does everyone wear their skull scarves?

that mint with creme sounds delicious, i'll have to save up for a couple of weeks before I can afford mine. lots of birthdays coming up, and back to university text books to buy

^ i spoke to the girl that sells them there (or used to-she sold out). she had one on, and it looked real. I'm guessing from what she said they are copies because she was talkin to me about the printing etc, and they were only £20. hers looked amazing though

i spoke to her aswell! the first time i saw her, i told her i had one too, but small, and that her large one looked great, i thought hers was real and she never said that it wasnt. when i went back, she had a whole bunch that she was selling for 20 pounds. i could tell they werent real then, because they are cotton or something, but they look great. she had skull bangles and stuff as well. her stuff was cool, and pretty cheap.

^ I haven't seen the small size skull scarf, but from what I can gather I think it will be around headscarf size, i think

the small ones are still quite big. they are not square though but if they are folded along the diagonal they are large enough to tie around the waist or hips, and they are still small enough to wear as a head band.

I must be the only person who doesn't like the skull scarf. However, the blue and white is pretty...but I still don't like it enough. It would suit certain people on TFS though!

flick how long ago did you speak to her? She didn't say that it was real, but it looked really nice on. I'm still waiting to hear from her because she had sold out when I was there. she took my mobile number and promised to ring me. that was 3 weeks ago and I havent heard anything. I have no way of contacting her either

I just called Alexander McQueen NY (again) and they have the following colours in the small size left:

Champagne/taupe with bright yellow skulls
Bright yellow with champagne/taupe skulls
Champagne/taupe with lavender skulls
Mint with creme skulls


I think the champagne and lavender sounds gorgeous too!!

Must stop buying skull scarves

My taupe and fuschia scarf just arrived!!!!! It is beautiful!!

It was delivered to my work and I made such an excited squeak all the boys came around to look

I forgot my digital camera today so I will hunt round the office for one. Hopefully post some photos today

Has anyone purchased their scarf from a place other than the McQueen store? Say a Saks or an Jeffrey? I'm interested in getting another color but I'm not sure I want to go back to the McQueen store.
