but I honestly don't get the appeal. To me it's just a scarf with skulls, which I think is kinda dumb. Wearing skulls period is just...ugh...screams faux punk rock or something.
I love that ironical side...you don't have to take that seriously^_^
I got mine (large black) in 2003 for €75 (sales)if I remember well! I still  it.

I think the McQueen one is ugly, but I saw an older guy with a skull bandana on and I really liked it. I'm thinking about going for this one:

I am sure I read very recently that because of its popularity, they have picked it up again, and it is going to become a seasonal item for Mcqueen now, just going to change the colours :flower:

^ not sure about that and since they are selling for so much thats why i'm hesitant to get one from there. I don't wanna get screwed over.

BUT, I visited the Alexander Mcqueen boutique when I was in London last week and it seems the skull scarfs have been reintroduced, so whoever sed that was right! They had quite a few of the large size £110, they had lime green and blue, fuschia pink and lime green skulls, pale lemon and pale blue, and white with pale blue. They are expecting the black and white one's in from september but there is a waiting list for them. I put my name down, even though I what I really wanted to do was punch the snooty shop assistant in the face!! the fuschia pink was DIVINE, but I just don't have enough stuff to go with it

hiya i love the scarf to bits and have trying to get my hands on one for ages, was walking through portobello market this morning and they had them!! i snapped the last one up thank god- have to decide how to wear it now!

Um, are you sure it was real? I mean, was it vintage?

^ i spoke to the girl that sells them there (or used to-she sold out). she had one on, and it looked real. I'm guessing from what she said they are copies because she was talkin to me about the printing etc, and they were only £20. hers looked amazing though

i *think* i've seen sienna miller with the white and pale blue. They were all beautiful colours, but imo the brighter one's looked much better. the white/paler pastel colours just didnt contrast the skulls well enough for me

Oh i really want to buy one but the problem is that i live in France and i don't know if the
shop will send one to me especially if there is a waiting list !

I really want the black with white skulls for a long time but i would like to see the fushia one in real ..... It must be beautiful but i don't know if it would suit my wardrobe...

Do you think they could send one to me ????

Picked up a scarf today (red with greyish blue skulls) and I love it but damn if the folks at the McQueen store aren't a bit snooty. I find it morbidly amusing that salespeople at many boutiques act as if they'd rather not deal with customers at all. Perhaps they are too busy practicing their aloof facade of glamour. I hear that kind of thing is hard work :)
