Ehhhhhh. Boring, and an overall disappointment. He totally abandoned what he did best, which is simple, luxurious basics with a little bit of a twist. Its been that way for a while, but this seals the coffin on it. I am sure he will make more money than ever, as his hype factor keeps going up, but this is nothing that impressive. Plus all the smoke and the dark venue, come on its so been done.

PLUS that bag on page two is a direct Chloe knock-off, the next classic bag? I think not.


edit... OK so I just looked at the collection on Style.com a little more closely, and really I think the major problem is the try-hard styling. There are absolutely some cute pieces, which I totally missed without really looking at each look seriously for a decent amount of time, and which will be good in store. So I am taking back part of what I said, and adding that I think he actually dose make a nice contribution to this price point, but his posturing and contrived-ness get in his way.

hmm i dont know...i'm disappointed...

i much preferred his spring collection..
it was a lot cooler and more effortless imo..

this looks like it's trying a bit too hard...
and more than that...most of the clothes just arent flattering on the girls..

*the only highlight of this collection is his color palette.

yeah i agree its too dark for me as well. I like that dirty peach dress but otherwise the i know what he is getting at and its a little too obvious.

I like some of the pieces- I agree the torn leggings are a bit much (for me at least) I admire his success at such a young age.

the individual peices are lovely, well made and beautiful
but the styling and the feel of the show was just...so contrived and so not fresh, it had been DONE TO DEATH
it lacked elegance, but i probably will be buying a few peices as some are just gorgeous. the show didn't do the clothes justice at all

Yep. I had to take a second, closer look at everything to really appreciate it more. I think that the knits are beautiful and can be worn in a personal way wont aways portray "Erin". Some of the dresses are really cool too, and I can see myself wearing then without ripped tights and a toque.
All in all I think its very cool and agree it will do well in store.
