I think that she def is really shy in real life. I just get that vibe from her, totally low key.
I love Alexis, but I think that as a celebrity... she's quite private. We barely get any candids and she doesn't seem very flashy and in-your-face either. I've read in interviews that she is quite a shy girl and that was why her mother encouraged her to do modelling in the first place. All of her roles have her as a shy girl, i'm beginning to wonder if that's probably just her real personality.

Ya. Even though I can understand, I hate how some people just automatically assume certain individuals are rude or 'too cool' just because they're shy and don't speak much.Alexis is very shy. I worked on "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" with her this summer, and she was indeed very shy, almost to the point where a lot of people who talked to her thought she was being rude, but she is just very shy.![]()

oh cool, what is your job? If you don't mind me asking that is
I was the Shop Coordinator - basically I coordinated things between the Set Dressing, Scenics, and Construction departments on the film (placed orders, ran errands to the set and the production office, shopped for items that the Set Dressing/Scenics/Construction departments needed, etc). It was my first job ever on a film, and it was a great experience!
I got to see many aspects of the process of making a film. That sounds fantastic! Not at all.I was the Shop Coordinator - basically I coordinated things between the Set Dressing, Scenics, and Construction departments on the film (placed orders, ran errands to the set and the production office, shopped for items that the Set Dressing/Scenics/Construction departments needed, etc). You must have had so much fun.
And Alexis has another project lined up!November 13, 2007 - Gilmore Girls and Traveling Pants star Alexis Bledel has set up her next big-screen project, a college comedy for Fox Atomic.
According to Variety, Bledel will star in Ticket to Ride, which is set to start shooting next month under the direction of Vicky Jenson, co-director of Shark Tale and Shrek. Incidentally, early in her career Jenson worked as a storyboard artist on Jem and He-Man and She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword , which automatically makes her awesome.
Bledel will reportedly play Ryden Malby in the film, a college grad who is forced to move back into her childhood home with her eccentric family while she attempts to find a job, the right guy and some direction for her life.
Ivan Reitman will produce the flick and the script was penned by up-and-coming screenwriter Kelly Fremon. In a recent profile piece on the scribe, Reitman told Variety, "Over the past year, Kelly has written at least 15 drafts of the script. While she completely was open to doing the work that was necessary to improve it, she also worked very hard to maintain her own language and the integrity of her characters. She really has her own voice, which is her greatest strength. There's a wonderful family of people in Ticket to Ride, and she's found individual truths about each one of them. We're already looking for something new to do with her."
Also on Bledel's plate are The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants sequel, and she may reprise her role in the big-screen follow-up to Sin City.
