I never actually saw an episode of Gilmore Girls until the season when Rory went away to college, but for a while, it was one of those better-late-than-never situations. Rory was brainy, witty, and insecure in all the right places. I knew that if we ran into each other at an independent coffee shop, the mutual attraction would develop over a wordy conversation about indie bands, hip underground authors, and Greek mythology jokes. And we would be inseparable. But then the next season she kind of became a rebellious skank, so there you go. — Aaron F.
