i heard she is half Mexican/ half Argentinian and that she learnt Spanish before English. yet i cant seem to find a single interview of her in Spanish.

Maybe she's never been given the opportunity to speak Spanish in an interview? It doesn't seem like she would get such an opportunity very often considering all of her work in is English so she would be promoting in english....

Lauren Graham and Ellen do most of the talking, but Alexis starts speaking Spanish around 2:26. She only translates one or two sentences.

Oh no, I don't think she speaks Spanish like what it sounded in Gilmore Girls. From what I heard on Ellen, she speaks it very well.

I was surprised that she doesn't speak it with an Argentine accent though, seeing as how her dad is Argentine. But that could be attributed to her upbringing here in the states or how her mother speaks it.

me too even that i affraid that it will be another unsucesfull ( in money wise )one for alexis. I really hope that one day she will have great role where she show her acting and will be adored by ppl. Not as Rory but as Alexis, the actress.

I miss Gilmore Girls as well. I can't remember if it was Teen Vogue or not, but she did an interview where she talked about her distaste for Rory and the choices she makes. What stuck out to me about that was even though she was discussing things she wasn't crazy about in Rory she never once came across as ungrateful or disrespectful. I've noticed that when an actor or actress complains about their character they tend to sound bratty or stuck up. Alexis never came across that way.
