Alexis Vogel Cosmetics

I was just wondering if anyone has tried the Alexis Vogel makeup. Everytime I see the infomercial I am so tempted to order it. It just seems like alot of money for what you get. The colors look like they work and show up so well. I have seen pictures of Gwen Stefani and Carmen Electra where she did their makeup and it looks so awesome.

i find that infomercial both entertaining and humerous, but theres no way id order that product...they all end up looking like strippers.

Thank you both for replying! I definitely agree that some come out looking like strippers thats not how I want to look. However it seems that her foundation, eyeliner, and blush work really well so I wanted to try them.

Hi, I was wondering if any of you have actually used, tried, or knew someone who uses Alexis Vogel Cosmetics. It is supposedly a good kit, teaching people how to use and apply makeup, and has flattering shades for everyone. Her website is http://www.alexisvogel.com. Isn't this the line that Pam Anderson endorses on television?

I think it's way too heavy and overdone.

I'm sure she's helpful at teaching makeup application techniques, but the result is too over-the-top in my opinion.

Yes, it's the line she endorses. Alot of other celebrities endorse it too. I like the way the application of the makeup is done, from what I've seen. Just wondering if anyone had experience with the actual system and makeup itself. Thanks!

Subtlety is not something she endorses, thats for sure...
I think in everything there needs to be moderation, and it just seems like Alexis tries so hard to cover up every inch of natural beauty with goopy gloss, heavy eyeliner, and shimmer overdose at one time. Its just not a good look for anyone. At least let ONE natural feature stand out.... clean skin, naked lips.... something. Everyone I have ever seen use her system ends up looking cheap and something of a poseur. Sorry.

I would buy it for my wedding pictures. I really actually like the look and I've purchased the lipstick from her site. It's called nuzzle. I'll take a picture of my lips and post it when it gets here next week.
