A few nice pieces...but other than that I am unimpressed. And I hate the makeup...its so done.

i agree about the clothes. i like the concept, and there are some cute pieces, but it could have been better.

Alice Roi: Wednesday Addams-meets-prep school. That was the theme Alice Roi showcased on Saturday, to charming effect. Rather than belabor the punk sensibility, she decided to polish it up. Her muse is a "lunch box-holding girl from St. Marks," she said. "I love her energy and spirit, but she needs a makeover."

To that end, there were cozy oversized sweater dresses, bib blouses, wool wrap skirts and sweet cocktail frocks accented with an ever-so-subtle strip of patent detailing. And who could forget the accessories? Those leather and crocheted renditions of the boxy lunch box were fabulous. Indeed, what Roi sent out was more than just chic trappings for the child full of woe.
