What a beautiful cover for them. The rich colours and overall mood is very autumnal, which is apt. Never knew she had a mole, but Amanda looks great here.

So she's got 'no filter'? Good. I'd like to hear her take on the Thomas Sadoski 'coincidence'.

Great cover. Perfect colors. Working layout.

I'm Always surprised to still see her getting covers; have the feeling I haven't seen her in any film for years now. But she does look gorgeous here.

Gorgeous cover, one of Allure's best since I can't even remember when. Amanda has photographed beautifully, love the styling and the colours are perfect for fall - cannot complain about this one. Thank you Miss Dalloway & HandbagQueen!

At last, an Allure cover that's worth looking at, and in such beautiful autumn colours. It makes me look forward to seeing the cover shoot and the rest of the contents.

I love the color scheme, her expression is not working though imo... and I don´t know if it´s the preview but her mouth looks badly photoshoped.

the cover and cover editorial with amanda is very soft focused and fuzzy - why?

Love this beauty story, I've noticed they've lengthened these features instead of publishing 3 or more. It's very much Michelle Lee's approach to beauty, logical and useful, as opposed to an in-depth expansion on the motifs used. When it looks this good, no complaints from me then.

This is the only magazine I have on standing order from my newsagents, but after the Dec or Jan issue, I'll likely cancel it, because there is now nothing in this magazine that I couldn't get online.

Beauty is a superficial subject, but saying that, in the days of Linda Wells, there were contributors who had worked in the world of fashion and style for decades, and their opinions reflected their ability to see the long view. There were also mini-essays about people's relationship with their own image, how they came to terms with their own reflection, the beauty idols they grew up with, how a certain image in a magazine defined a moment in their life. That's all gone, replaced by 'longer' articles that are just short pieces padded out with white space.

The new editor has expanded the multicultural aspect of the covers and content - but Allure was using a lot more non-white models in its editorials long before US Vogue decided to branch out, but because it's a lesser Conde Nast title, no-one really noticed.

Given that interest in cosmetics, plastic surgery and self-image is more intense than ever, this magazine could be really capitalising on that, but the content it currently offers doesn't merit being on a printed page, so this point, I wouldn't be surprised if it moved online in the next year or so.

This magazine is still a must for me due to the beauty coverage - even if i doubt that they use the products mentioned in the editorials. I enjoy the cosmetic surgery and treatment coverage.

there is another magazine in the US called New Beauty that focuses on products and cosmetic surgery. I imagine that much eat into allure's newsstand sales.
