Perez Hilton:

Britney Spears is starting the week of with a big dose of her usual CRAZY!

Every time the former pop star attempts a comeback, she just self-sabotages her career. This destructive behavior is so sad and reflective of some deep psychological problems she will hopefully receive treatment for very soon. She needs it, badly.

Women’s Wear Daily reported on Monday that Britney is going to be on the cover of the September issue of Allure magazine.

However, sources in the know reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that the Allure spread is just pictures.

“Just like she did with OK! magazine, Britney got crazy with Allure and left the shoot without doing an interview,” an insider tells us. “She then refused to reschedule later.”

Spears is currently acting without a manager or a publicist.

And it seems like she’s also without a brain!

That is awful, I do not want to buy a magazine with Britney Spears on the cover.

I truly feel bad for her, unlike other starlets she still has my symphaty vote.I was never her fan or listen to that kind of music, but she just seems so out of control and in need of help,i hope she gets it before its to late.

And ya,very weird they would put her on the cover in the first place.

Its sad that there are so few original ideas when it comes to magazine covers. Sure Britney will sell but there are about 100 other women who are more interesting without being utter overexposed trainwrecks.

I hope someone will step up and give Britney the help she needs but I also hope that someone will come along and let the magazine industry now that there are other people besides the Lohan/Hilton/Spears trifecta. Perhaps if these girls weren't always on the covers of magazines they'd have time and anonymity to get their lives together. There should also be a line drawn between celebrity magazines and fashion magazines. Enough already with the tabloid darlings.

nothing was revealed exclusively to perezhilton...
it was in wwd today...:innocent:

Allure chose pop tart gone wild Britney Spears. Why would a magazine about beauty put on its cover an unstable woman who shaved her own head, went to rehab and is a regular on celebrity weeklies' worst dressed lists? Editor in chief Linda Wells explained in her editor's letter: "I thought we could present the profile as her comeback. Perhaps Britney's story would be redemptive, like those of Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore and Mariah Carey before her." Instead, Britney took the photos and bailed — she missed four scheduled interviews with writer Judith Newman, and the accompanying comeback story went untold. Newman instead penned a story about the state of celebrities in 2007, and Allure crafted the cover line "Britney Spears: Tells Us Nothing and Everything."

Ok...she will never be on the level of Drew, Angelina or Mariah...mainly because they did not have children to care for when they were off the deep end...

And they were always respected for their talent...

lmao i've heard that
it is ridiculous
i can't stand her if honestly

Is she even in Cover condition? Last time I saw her...she looked horrible.

are they nuts??? why would anyone want to her on a cover????? i don't get it, seriously!!!!!

Linda Wells needs to step down. Once upon a time, her cover subjects were relevant-they had projects out that month and they did a Q &A with the interviewer and that was the best. 2000 was the best year. But now, Linda is putting randoms on the cover. There are so many worthy cover subjects. Brit is not one of them.

I agree but she also has mags to sell, and a boss to answer to. Right now it's the tired serial-rehab idiots that are of interest whether we like them or not.

But still, this is pushing it. As much as I loathe her, Natalie Portman would have been a better choice.
